The fleece lined ones are incredible although I prefer to just buy the canvas double front pants since they are more versatile. Bonus points, the hammer loop holds an ice axe very well. Breaking in a pair of Carhatts is just incredible.
For classier occasions cords are the only way to go.

But recently I bought some carhart cargo pants for hunting in the winter and they so far have been very warm and durable. ^those 511 pants look more professional than carhart and seem like theyd be of quality too. Anyone on here have fleece lined carhart pants? Ive never owned any but they seem like theyd be quite warm

Super comfy and super durable...also super pricey but good pants nonetheless

I just bought a pair of Topo Designs work pants and love the fit and thick material. Basically a slimmer fitting carhartt without all the unnecessary pockets.
On a side note, anyone else on here absolutely hate jeans? I just threw out my last pair. They always bunch up in the crotch, have absolutely no stretch, and are 1800s technology in a modern world with modern fabrics.
I got a pair of Outlier pants last year and love em. This is the fabric that will replace jeans. Stretchy, look great with a dress shirt or a t shirt. Kinda pricey but I've yet to find a comfier pant that is also rugged. http://shop.outlier.cc/shop/retail/slim-dungarees.html
Check out Swrve too. It's a biking company and they use 4 way stretch. Fitted pants with good stretch that I use for hiking and biking, and also look good enough to wear around to bars.
