I really like making dreamcatchers. I made a rather large, 3 piece minnie mouse dreamcatcher, bow and all for my cousin. I have a mountain weaved dreamcatcher that's not fully finished but I'm waiting until I think of something better to do to it. Those are probs my favs but I have about 100 mini ones laying around. I don't really use them to decorate or hang up though. I just like making them and giving them to people.

I am also fully obsessed with Disney World. We go every year. Def can find me belting the Lion King soundtrack when stuck in traffic. Hakuna Matata bitches.

When I was a teenager I was wayyyyy too into racing RC cars. I still dabble here and there. It was a good time but damn I'd dork out hard.

I really like solo card games. Solitare and the like. Its fun to figure out what works and what does not, makes me think abiut something other than school, corona, and the impending depression.

My little brother was into that for awhile. They're cool and all but everytime he used it seemed like something would break and he would have to spend another $100 to use it again.

I compulsively painted Warhammer figurines for like 5 years. Never played the game, just love painting miniatures. Been tempted to get back into it a few times but it's such a money hole.

I used to have a Traxxas Rustler I built from the kit when I was a kid and always felt like a dick because I would never let my friends drive it because it was so fast. A few month ago I got a Traxxas Slash and a TRX4 Sport. Im pretty much sucked in beyond all hope by this point and am always breaking out the soldering iron for new ESC upgrades etc. RC trucks are utter insanity now compared to what we had back in the day. Next on the list is the UDR once I get some money together. Damn, they make some cool stuff nowadays:

Carving stone and doing chalk drawings

Edit: I’m not embarrassed of either of these.

Ooof- I love playing Magic the Gathering, made a thread about it when I was younger but just got shit on for it lol. if [tag=10102]@Wormracer[/tag] sees this I hope he knows I'd kick his ass in a game- got like 6 decks on lock and you already know the card sleeves are color coded.

Other than that playing Dungeons and Dragons is super fun when you're fucked up with some friends, also love watching older anime.

Literally every chick does this.

Really? I’ve never met anyone who does. They’re pretty easy to start though so I guess I could see it being popular.

I am such a history nerd, I collect trench knives from WWI. I started it when I was about 12 or so? Anyway, I've got over 30 now.

Are you a fucking casual?

I am an avid birdwatcher. It started as one of those random things you get interested in as a kid except I just never stopped. Now I usually know exactly what I'm seeing or hearing when I go out and the primary focus is on seeing a species that I don't see often or is new to me. If were to go to a new region I'd be hellbent about seeing new species of birds.

I had a bird identification app on my phone a while back and there is one hell of alot of different birds in this world

This is a toss up between my figure skating days and hacky sack club.

There's nothing embarrassing about hack. Unless you formed an actual club.

I used to collect rocks and crystals as a child so much so that I had a rock tumbler/polisher in my basement.

Also "friendship" bracelets or whatever you call the multicolored multis-strand woven bracelet made from embroidery floss.

And also rollerblading. I did grow up in the 80s/90s but still, it's embarrassing.

Oh yeah mineral specimens, I maxed out a couple credit cards obsessively buying them along time ago, lots of tourmaline and beryl crystals

Damn, thats badass. I have an old Snyder Enfield that my Grandpa found in a a field in NY. It is one of the first breach loading rifle designs.

Another history nerd chiming in. If I have to do chores or something I will pick a random subject on youtube and do "History of..." and listen to a lecture etc.

Have you seen the Great War Youtube Channel? It goes through WWI week by week and is amazing.

Rollerblading was the shit in the 90s. I remember my friend and I hooked a rope to a bike and would tow each other around. Legit activity for sure.

Did you ever play that video game Myst? That was a mind fuck even by todays standards.

No, what console? I was a Sega genesis guy and stopped gaming entirely probably in '94 or so. I'm old.

I have no idea why my dad let me start collecting them haha.

I haven't seen that, but now I know what I'm doing with my day.

i used to figure skate a million years ago. I got way into it and now my parents tell my friends and they make fun of me.

I drive around cleaning up debris off the road ways on my spare time. Im the guy that stops every time when there is something in the middle of the road and removes it, dead animals to construction garbage. Ive been hit with stuff in my car and while riding my motorcycle, no fun when something is flipped up by the car in front of you and it comes through your windshield or into your chest on your bike.

nothing really too interesting. before i moved to UT, i was really into BMX racing at like age 12-13 and got pretty good at it, got to be one of the top 3 racers in the state of MI, qualified for more regional events to try and race on a national circuit level, and other stuff. My dream at the time was to race the UCI world circut and be like my hero Bubba Harris railing burms on redlines.

There seems to be some people back here in Michigan really pushing the sport. We have RockCity (I think) BMX in the Grand Rapids area and thought it looked kinda fun. Might have to find a good enough used bike and give it a shot.

LMAO, talking to 8 year olds is the last thing you expect when like 90% of the people you talk to every day are 50+

dude that was the best, you can fuckin GRIP doing that. took some seriously character-building falls doing that lol

I started making wood coasters out of small tree trunks, it is literally just cutting them to desired thickness with a chop saw. I gave a bunch away as gifts, made Christmas ornaments out of small ones and decorated with a wood burner etc.
