What are your best crashes?

Last winter while I was skiing in the glades I fell of a cliff into a pile of powder did a somersault and skied away and later told everybody who was watching that I did it on purpose.

A few years ago on a foggy day. I was skiing the slopes when there was suddenly powder (you couldn't see anything). Well I did the first frontflip of my life there.

It was the slushiest day in park city. I was heading into the biggest jump there. (the one that is kind of under the lift.) it used to be the second in a two line but they pushed the first into it so it was bigger.

Anywho, I think it was gaped day.. But I catch an edge in the slush on the tranny of the jump. Fall face first on the lip. Then BOUNCE off the lip and lend on my back on the knuckle.

Separated shoulder. And a destroyed ego.

Did anyone happen to see it? There were tons of people there

Sunday River 2 years ago. I was night skiing with a friend. The lighting there is really shitty on some trails. So anyway me and my friend split up at the end of the night to go back to our condos. So right at the cut away to the Condo I was going really fast to have enough speed to ski right to the door. There was a snowmaking pipe sticking out of the snow. It was late march so eveyrthing melted during the day then re-froze. I hit the pipe, flipped over and slid right into a frozen trough and hit my leg on the edge. I kind of sat there dazed and made my way inside. When I got in I had a huuuuge bruise all down my left leg. The next day I couldn't really ski so we went home early.

Another time I was skiing some really icy moguls and caught an edge, slid until I went face first into a mogul, then my ski slid down and hit me in the back of the head. I'm fairly certain I got a concussion on that one because I can't really remember how long I sat there, just that I sat there for a while.

Did a Misty 810 at Saas-Fee a few weeks ago on the big jump. Landed on my feet but caught an edge and plowed my head in the snow. Don't remember 40 minutes after the crash, ended my only summer skiing day this year.

i was trying to jump gap the first 2 parts of an up flat down box and i gapped the whole thing and landed sideways and got a concussion, nothing much bit it was annoying that i couldn't do anything cuz my head was just blown up for 2 weeks

was hitting this 40' ish jump all day. go in the lodge, come back out an hour later, decide to rodeo instead of straight air ( big mistake cause the speed had gotten way faster ). Over shot the jump by about 25', ended up doing like a flat 630 landing all on one heel. Never got it checked out but it hurt for the rest of the season.

25'ish double back 'attempt' too 3 broken bones in my back-misted out on the best east the southern ec has had (2 years ago) in like 50 years- have strayed away from park since

Came up short on a jump. Compressed my spine, pinched a nerve and shifted my pelvis. Was not fun trying to walk after that.

Skiing this pretty tech chut at crystal mountain (spook chute, for those of you that ride here as well) that starts with a pillow line into about a 45' long straightline thats about 11 feet wide in the narrowest part and ~18-20 feet wide in the widest part of the line. So im crusin through the pow field above the entrance of the line on my park skis because I didnt know how muc snow was left over from the storm the day before. So im thinking to myself damn there is a good amount of fresh snow here still. And without even thinking about it I drop in and the first two pillows went fine but right when I landed in the chute my tips dove under about seven inches of snow and i began tomahawkung in the first ten feet of the chute, tomahawking down for the rest of the 35. Luckily i didnt bash into the rock walls on the sides of the straightline. And to this day I still havent been back to that line for redemption. And sorry for spelling errors n shit im on mobile
