ovid's metamorphasis is a collection of myths that all have to do with a certain type of metamorphasis, either by the characters themselves or as a direct result. i had to read parts for a mythology class, and finished it by myself. its good if you dont mind greek/roman literature stylings and enjoy myths and the such

More time would be nice...my time gets too fucked up by going to class and studying that taking time to read is not really feasible...oh well. But I read some more of 1984 tonight...all I have to say is read it.

Captains of Conciousness by Stewart Ewen was good. Ways of Seeing(John Berger) wasn't as good, but really interesting. The rest of what I've been reading lately has been journal articles and first aid stuff. Still getting through some Nietzche (Twilight of the Idols/the Antichrist) VERY slowly, and I've got a collection of ski magazines that probably amounts to a whole forest. I'm also looking forward to going to buy a book titled 'Communication What?'. Not too sure what exactly it entails, but I know it's a number of ideas and topics from a number of communication professionals, like Toscani(the guy behind the Benetton ads) and a huge number of academics in the field.

hahahah heart of darkness. man, that book was great in my ap eng class, cause you can basically interpret anything you want into the story, as long as you have a big enough imagination, and a loopy teacher who loves far out ideas. for wuthering heights i wrote a 8 pg paper describing the connection between the book and tic tac toe. she was ecstatic.

c_lo, that is a great book, all carlos is.

The best books ever written are written by a man named OSHO.

OSHO. remember his name..read his books....if anyone can find a copy of The Rebellious Spirit...gaurd it with your life...that book could destroy capatilism and the modern world.......very dangerous stuff....North America won't even let it in the country...I can't find it anywhere.....none of his dangerous stuff.

The Rebellious spirit is written under his real name.....Bagwan Shree Rajneesh...or spelling similar to that..
