So I just saw a video of this 14 year old prodigy yoyo kid someone posted on here, and it got me thinking. Everyone has got to have some unique skill, whether it be some thing like soccer, to cooking, to playing halo. So I was wondering, what do you(person reading this) have an aptitude for. As for me, I'm pretty badass at the clarinet. BTW I did searchbar, and ever if this thread has been made before I really don't give a shit.
 
I shred piano pretty hard.... Currently working on some dream theater stuff if any of you have heard of them.... Needed to take a break from classical, it gets boring after a while.
Other than that, I just do a lot of skiing... I'd say I'm above average NS level probably, so I guess I'm good?
Current things to get good at include writing music, guitar, playing harmonica and piano/guitar at the same time, and skateboarding. Maybe a lil wakeboarding/longboarding in there too.
 
I'm good at 3 things; fighting, screwing, and reading the news. I've already done 1 of these today so what's the other going to be?

Yeah, sooo damn good.... You should see the sheet music, its ridiculous. Arpeggiated chord inversions at like 140 bpm to the quarter note... crazy fucker. 54 and still shreds harder than anyone. Tons of respect for that guy.
 
Yeah, synthesizers are a world I have yet to find the time/cash to get into. Definitely looking into taking one to uni with me though.
 
Yeah, the R3 seems pretty dope. Unfortunately if I get anything I'll probably won't be able to buy a controller with it so I'll just be using whatever keyboard comes with it. The R3 keys look pretty alright though, I'll have to go test drive it at a store some time.
 
my synth player uses an R3 and a little yamaha keyboard, and an axiom 61 with fruity loops.he's selling the axiom to get a Juno though. pretty stoked.
i recommend the R3 over a microkorg, or pretty much any other synth. the sound is incredible and the interface is pretty straight forward. the vocoder is illin, as well.
personally, i would die for a nord electro 3 (my favorite electric piano sound, of all time) and an r3, midi to one of these

Yeah, the microkorg seems like it would be kind of cheaping out, especially for what I'd need to be somewhat happy with my purchase. Nord makes some dope instruments though, I'd love one.

The legendary Zen Riffer... I would kill for one of these. I wouldn't even play it, I'd just kind of look at it.
 
haha that was definitely my brother the prodigy yoyo kid, but im pretty good when it comes to designing clothes, tennis, and ping pong..
 
Pretty good at school if I don't procrastinate. Hate it, but it's good in the long run.

Also, I think I'm pretty good and DH Bike racing considering I just started last year.
 
Swimming and people are gonna think i'm a nerd but I'm good at debate (specific events in high school/college debate, not online bullshit)
 
I'm good at banging you nerd ass teens moms and girlfriends. cuz you all suck.

oh and i'm better at what you guys think you are good at. especially skiing and skaten and fuckin.
