i have 1080's , like them a lot, i dont have PE's, i also like them a lot, i dont have armada's, but have skiied them, and thought it was up there with the worst i have ever skiied as far as an all mtn twin tip goes. i am very interested in 4FRNT if for nothing else than the fact that i would get along with their warranty program very well

Yeah ECM, the ARVs are exactly the same as scratches, except they have sandwich construction, wood cores, and they're stiff as hell. Other than that, they are the exact same. (sarcasm)

armadas are not the same as scratches. there is no carbon in the scratches there is in the ar5. scratches use a thc core as armada uses just wood. armada uses a p-tex side wall and rossi uses an abs sidewall. the p-tex is more pliable and less brittle than abs. you cant necessarily say one is better than the other, they both are sick skis. what it comes down to is what you like and what you want.
