i wanna get some skis midseason just for butters and stuff. so what are the softest skis you know of or which are the best for butters and stuff. im guessing invaders are probably the best i can find.

invaders,fujas,t-halls. all very soft but invaders are softest out of the three. these are easily the softest park skis around. dogens are soft too but arnt as good for butters as they are soft all over dont have butter zones/flex points like these skis so not as easy to butter

If you could find a pair of last years fuji's I believe those are softer than this years as well.

you havent skied them so dont generalize. they seem stiffer when flexed(not not when skied on) but they did something in teh tail to make a better platform so they are no harder to butter(well that i found) but better in pipe and all mtn.

Ive got some 2004 armada ar5's. They are are decently soft. Selling them brand new(170) for 299.

have you acually skied all of these because i dont know how you can really rank them all without skiing them. i just cant really believe you had a chance to ski those all last year

t-halls are not softest. especially the new 1's which too have been slightly stiffened up in the tail.

^your right... this years t-halls are a little stiffer than last years. I'd say last years t-halls are the softest ski out there... whoever said ARV's is crazy. Unless you are talking about old old arv's that are worn out.

and no invaders aren't softer than t-halls.. maybe at their flex pts... but not overall.

and yes I have skied all of these skis.

Invaders are stiff in the middle and noodley in the butter points. I'd say last years THalls or an old pair of salaomons when the core is destroyed.

ik they dont seem like a park ski or that they would be soft but i have last years scratch sprayer BC (the all black ones) and there are stiff in the center and softer at the tips... there almost the exact same as the invader and i got em super cheap so they may be worth checkin out

last years fujutives.! there grosly soft.i have invaders and u have to wear them in.. the fujutives come that way. but they feel a little unstable

then why do you have TMs in that list? and above fujis? they are kinda a wierd ski, and ski way stiffer than they flex. just look at a side view of the ski, a core profile will show you it's teierd(sp?), i've owned both TMs and fujis, and the fujis are so much softer, it's not even funny, there's a reason why they are shot skis now (they snapped) while im still riding my TMs. and the tips aren't even that sof, and the middle is pretty stiff, not as easy to butter as you'd expect.

yeah, i don't know why nomensteven has TMs as a soft ski because they're pretty stiff from what I've felt a la last years and this years skis.
