Just buy the $5 poles from the used equipment shop. You can buy one pair of expensive poles or 15 pairs of 5$ poles for the same price and it'll definately take longer to snap 15 pairs of poles.
i have some atomic metrons. its the only pole that i have had for more than one season. all of my other ones either bent severly or broke in half. they were like $60.
Yea you know what's up. I still use my ice poles and they are probably 8 years old. Hand me downs and still going strong. They are carbon composite, but probably the thickest carbon composite i ahve seen in a pole. Ive probably gone through 5 sets of broken baskets but the poles are indestructible.
ya honestly carbon poles are crap. they maybe stronger than aluminum but they snap which is dangerous when an aluminum pole would just get bent to shit.
spicolli joysticks are good. i stole a pair from this faggot guy who tried to sell me like 70 year old skis for 150$. dumbass guy. they held up very well
I've got some Royal Shaft poles that have a lifetime warranty against breaking or bending. I got them from a shop that was going out of business so they were dirt cheap (about $40).
I am still sticking with my ice carbons! Since i got them I have had other pairs of poles that I tried out and bent/broke. I always go back to the ICE*USA
just get free poles in the lost and fond...my racer sister laughed at my ghetto painted white/purple poles that she had when she was 8, showed off her carbon fiber poles to me by leaning on one of them and it snapped and I laughed so fucking hard, its like the THIN ones, like fucking expensive...then my parents got her fucking like 300$ poles and I got my mom's old poles cuz she bended them...
I've actually tried to break my joysticks on purpose, to no avail. I've had people ski into them, I've smacked them on rails, I've hit trees with them, rocks, whatever, and the fuckers still won't break. Sickest poles ever.
