What are the best freestyle skis for girls??

Hi girls!

I'm a Scratch FS lover. But I'd like to know which are the best freestyle skis in your opinion!!

I'd love to try new skis and compare them =)

I gave up on looking for chick skis.

I just bought some Larose's in 178. Best investment I've made this year. So light. So poppy. So flexy. Just an overall great ski.

I don't know about Boone technically speaking. What I know is that they have shitty designs... don't they?
 
not a chick ski but i ride invader 07/08 and i absolutely love them, light and flexy what else would you want (unless you lean more towards a pow ski a guess) and for me they've actually lasted, i ski everyday and they're still in almost perfect condition.
 
sister is on K2 Misdemeanors, granted she only goes into the park to watch and has no idea how to do anything freestyle. From seeing her ski though they are def good for the whole mountain.
 
aspen shut up you are the most hated member on this site you fucking republican, boone is one of the best up and coming ski companies there is, i would rather ride a pair of the 93mm than AR6s so shut up and go jerk yourself off to john mccain because you don't know shit about skis that you havent ever touched.

One of my friends just got Armada ARWs and she loves them. I don't think there is a really huge difference between women specific and male specific skis though, besides graphics.
 
Ok, let's precise what I'm looking for:

I love to go to the snow parks & I also do "regular skiing" with my friends so I want to find the perfect compromise between both!
 
i've got line shadows. they have tons of pop, not too flexible. but yeah i'd say go guys. a lot more choices for different styles.
 
i've never ridden them, but i've held them in shops and whatnot and can tell you that the 4frnt madonna is a bit stiffer than the volkl pearl. if you spend more time doing regular skiing than park skiing, the madonna may be a good choice, especially if you like going fast.
 
im tellin ya youre gonna like boone skis a lot if you like scratch fs. because boone has the extra camber and bamboo core its gonna have a real responsive and poppy attitude to it, yet still being flexy which is awesome for a ski that you would like.
 
pow you want something big soft and rockered unless you want a charging ski, for jumps a stiff ski is better unless other factors like extra camber help improve the snappyness and responsiveness of the performance. you dont wanna be hitting kings with a ski that has way too dull of a response like the invader.
 
...that was a terrible comeback. Not to defend aspen or anything, but you called her a republican, which isn't relevant at all, and I'm sure she's proud of. Then you just blabbed about how much you love boone.
 
its aspen, everybody knocks on her for being republican...thanks for the analyzation of my comeback i'll think about using your tips next time i get mad at somebody for talking shit about a pair of skis they know nothing about.
 
granted i don't ski park all the time but i absolutely love my Missdemenor's - love, love, love them. i'm a fairly aggressive skier with a ski racing background and they will most likely be my next pair as well - they have over 250 days on them and are just starting to loose their responsiveness and pop.
 
I bought some ARWs for my girlfriend, and I have ridden them a bit (close enough BSL that we can ride switch with a little adjustment). They kill it, really light and really good on groomed. I'd definitely recommend them. Longest is a 171 though.
 
all of which have nothing to do with the performance of the ski, which is why im so stoked on boone. i also never expected a girl to like a naked chick on a ski
 
i agree, they haven't done anything out of the ordinary with their technology... so all i have to go off of is their vibe/ graphics, which suck.

as for the ski question, a park ski can ski anywhere, but a groomer ski can't ski park
so try the moment stiletto or the salomon mai tai

skiminnesota i love you. you can't take a joke and you hate my love for b-rock. and its aspen. come on dawg everybody hates on her for her dumb comments that make no sense. you are a smart guy who always writes good solid posts i can actually debate debate with unlike aspen who doesn't actually care about what she posts so she writes the most biased non-intellectual southern posts she can think of which is why she gets knocked on.
and she hasnt ever touched the ski so she doesn't even know how sick boones actually are as a ski. so for that she deserved a callout. plus this is NS when have posts ever been so serious besides in me vs. you political battles?
 
Yo so I understand where you are coming from. But how bout this: you voiced your opinions for boone, thats great. you have voiced them so much so I am surprised your knees ain't sore from sucking their dick so much. Aspen can say whatever she wants and recommend whatever ski she wants to. This thread isn't titled "What are the best freestyle skis for girls, boones only". So let aspen say what she wants. If she doesn't like boone she has a right to say it. So come off your high horse and deal with other people having different opinions that yourself.
Lastly, It shows a lot about a person in the way they argue, you can't even bring valid points in other than bringing up political affiliations and biased views of southerners.

 
have you ridden the invader? if so just like you flipped out at aspen for not likeing Boone skis then maybe ill flip out at you for not liking the invader....

its called a difference of opinion, and when it comes to skis who you voted for in an election should have NOTHING to do with it.
 
Performance? Liberty has a bamboo core. The Larose is a super sweet ski. Hornbeck is riding it. Sure it doesn't make the ski any better because Hornbeck is riding it, but he's super stoked on it. Come on, guys. Notice how Boone's prices have dropped? It's because they aren't selling. As for naked chicks... If Jon's pro model was an 85 then I would totally rock it. Whenever I see someone with Jon's skis I always comment them on their "Sexy Twins". Besides, the chicks on the Boone skis look like typical car show chicks. BTW I haven't seen a graphic change for 09/10.

Seriously? You're bringing politics into Ski Gabber? That's all you have on me? Alex, you used to be cool, but now you're just riding a dick and absolutely enjoying it. I just don't dig their vibe at all. Maybe if I joined a sorority my feelings would change.
 
ive had Atomic Tweaks, K2 missdameanors, Salomon Mai Tai, and this years Armada Arw's. im now riding next years Armada Arw's and there BOMB ! Never rode a ski with so much pop! there super light and versatile. There durable too, i ride these skis every day, and i actually ride them not just stand in the park and watch everyone else. Also Armada is great with warranty! On this year's Arws i deamed once, tore the edge another time and both times they got replaced with no questions asked. ive had no problems so far with the 09/10 skis and i would def recommend you waiting untill there are released to purchase new skis. they might be a little pricey, but i can promise you that wou will be satisfied!!!
 
of course he's going to be stoked on a ski/company that he's sponsored by (i have no idea if he gets paid or not, but regardless...). you don't see/hear riders complaining or saying negative things about their sponsor's products.

DUH! But he has to be completely immature about it? There are tons of great companies out there. He hasn't been riding on Boone during his whole skiing "career". Boone isn't selling for a reason though. Now he's talking about D-S like he owns it.
