thought we were talking cheap beers. I dont consider RR a cheap beer. You should grow up and learn to spell, a real man drinks beer, not bear, and not RR either.

I shouldn't have read this thread in the morning, its making my stomach hurt. But yes PBR is my default cheap beer. Bottles if at all possible (I don't even know if they have bottles any more) cheap cigar smoke also enhances the flavor.

As wise man once said: "It aint got a blue ribbon for nothin"

around here 40s arent so cheap, but i used to be able to get 2 for 4 bucks in Boston at select shithole stores in da hood

and the st. ides and steel reserves were 8.2%alc instead of 6% so you really only needed two

Yeah rolling rock isn't cheap.

What you see at your grocer is what there is basically, anything else will be "too special" to find, and there are only a few beers that come in 24-30 packs anyways.

Although 2 18 long necks of Labatt Blue is always a good choice

wow ive never seen a 30pack of pbr here(montreal) and for 11.50USD thats dirt cheap. over here it comes out to about 15$ for 12 cans

I think we got a winner, PBR is the best cheap beer available especially if your a skier, and if you find it in a 40, wells thats just the best of the best of the cheap

The only cheap beer I'll drink is PBR. King Cobra tastes like pennies, Natty Ice tastes like watered down 211, etc. Actually Caguama (sp?) is pretty decent.

But Coors is a midrange, in that price range the greatest beer is clearly BUDWIESER!

you gotta go to argonaut, best liquor prices ever.
as to the thread, anything but PBR is blasphemy. and if pabst isnt available, then high life.

contrary to popular belief, pbr is expensive compared to a lot of other beers. It's pretty much a fashion statement unless it's on sale. In the northwest we have Olympia, and Rainer beer that usually run about 4 bucks less a 30 pack ( 6 more beers than pbrs 24). Or you could go with miller high life, the champagne of beers which is always the same as or less than pbr, and you still get 6 more beers. Also look into hams, and schmidts.

if you just wanna get drunk, get some steel reserve in your body. 3 tall cans for about 6 bucks is more than enough for most people.

Where I live PBR costs about the same per bottle as Miller high life, and its only a little bit more than Keystone or Natty Ice or whatever. And its pretty significantly cheaper than Miller, Bud, etc.

Plus at the 99cent store you can get two bottles for a dollar.

I'm talking about cans homie. and since everyone is talking about cases, high life wins. all though by the bottle... it's about the same but some high life and fried chicken? shiiii

haha i had one of those 40's when i got in trouble at uvm, and the officers name was genesse. before i poured them out i was like hey officer, check this out! genesse, genesse, eh,eh? and goes "I am not amused." haha
