public enemies were awesome when they first came out, probably the best ski out there for a year or so afterwards even. Once realizing this, you need to think of them as a bombproof, allmountain twin. It will shred the park if you are good enough to shred them. If you are good enough to specialize in something else, then maybe get a way softer ski or something, but they are still a sick ski. Skiing had moved away from the niche that the public enemy has held, as a all mountain ski that you can shred in the park. I have never skied east of colorado, but from what I understand it is pretty park specific, so maybe a softer ski would be easier for you.
I am an advocate of longer skis. I am your size and I ride a 180 in park (183 gotama and 189 bent too) and I think that smaller skis are easier for park, and if its all your doing its fine, though not as manly. a 175 k2 isnt that bad though, just don't go below that.
I would suggest, like those before me, anthems, maybe invaders, fujis(which I personally loved), and maybe ar6s,
