What are apparently 'easy' tricks you can't do or haven't even tried ?

cork three.... sideflips fo days

Agreed. Seems so easy to transition. Can flot styled 3's all day and when I carve into it harder and tuck the shoulder can never really come around right.

Switch ups. I've tried them so many times but I just can't figure it out.

Learn to front 2 or blind 2 first. Then just start throwing your 2 out a little early so that you kind of tap the rail at the end. Keep doing that till you get more comfortable. Even if you swap the rail or box on the last 1-2 ft that's fine. Eventually you'll be able to swap on the rail whenever you want.

I've never done a backflip, and I don't plan on trying one anytime soon, probably due to the fact that I've never really done any flips on tramps and stuff

Everyone tells me backflips are easier than Lincolns and fronts but every time I try them my brain says NOPENOPENOPE and I eat shit

most of these tricks listed are the kind of thing where you do it and then go "oh man that was easy, what took me so long?"

but front 4 even more so IMO... take my word for it man, try it next time you get a chance, all you do is not spot your landing for a front 2 (which the skiing world pretty much agrees is the easiest trick, period) and let yourself keep going, you might not stomp it first try but you probably will and you definitely won't get hurt

You a left foot forwards kinda guy? I have the same goddamn problem. Fuck blind 2s

Ive got the same problem , if you can slide on your " unatural " Way , Try an unatural blind 2 .

Thats What i do cause i cant blind 2 on my good Way of sliding rails .

Backflips, frontflips, basically any trick that involves spinning to the right...but I'm getting better at that :) I don't really mind sliding rails unnatural. Some people can just slay boxrails. But I suck soooo bad at boxrails.

I hate boxrails with a passion

is this actually a thing for left foot forward guys? I am and i cannot blind 2 to save my children's children.

Left foot forward and spin left. You gotta spin right for a blind 2, or go right foot forward. Unnatural either way.

*mute grab without looking like a retard

*misty

And one of my favorite trampoline/diving board tricks is a misty 5 mute.

I'm a retard.

270's on to down rails.

I guess they arent exactly easy, but i also slide rails right foot forward, learned 270's on spinning right(so i land sliding natural) but spin left on jumps, so everythings all screwy and my spins onto rails always feel uncoordinated. it sucks.

yeah but in your defense, misty 5s feel waaay different on a diving board cause you spring into it

Yep, there isn't a single trick that feels the same on a tramp / diving board as it feels like on skis. I've done mistys (misties? I cunt spell) on flat ground too, but the first time (and last, so far) I tried it on skis I did a 1/2 misty 270, then I stopped flipping and just started spinning. Landed on my back, laughed my ass off and moved on.

Oh! And the same day I stomped my first 360, 5 years ago or so, we built a kicker on the side of a road and used a car to get the speed, and I went for a misty 5 and ended up doing a one and a half misty and landed it on my back / neck. The next morning I saw a 30cm (1 foot) tall metal pipe sticking from the ground like a meter away from the spot I landed on.

TL;DR: much beer. such type. too many words. wow.

I slide left foot forward and find it hard to grip for a blind 2 but when i do get it i spin unatty and it feels weird as fuck

yeah. i'd say the only ones that feel similar are gainers on diving boards/backies on skis, and maybe lincolns

re: almost getting a pipe stabbed into you FUCK THAT
