nothing. desktops are far superior, and they're easier to maintain and upgrade. in a laptop, as you probably know, all the components are miniaturized, therefore much more pricey. and, a desktop holds many extra cards slots, for expansion, whereas a laptop does not. and trust me, i just finished 1st year university... you don't NEED a laptop.
