What am I?

I can't figure out what side of the political spectrum I'm on.

-I live in Portland, OR, but I don't see myself as a die-hardliberal, like the vast majority of people that live here

-I'm not religious...at all

-My views on gays and gay marriage are supportive

-I believe abortion should be up to the woman in question

(The above 3 tell me that I'm not a die hard conservative)

The reason that I don't see myself as a liberal is that I completely disagree with our social welfare system. I work a bussing job at a nearby restaurant, and I work really hard for the money that I earn. It really makes me mad that our welfare system allows perfectly capable individuals get away with not working. I feel that it's unfair that my hard-earned cash goes towards benefitting an individual who can't work due to a drug habit or alcoholism.

So what am I if I'm neither of these?

Also, politics thread GO

politics is a bunch of BS. nothing can get done these days and our system needs a restructure.

insert bragging about canada having more parties than the US here. cause giant fucking shitstorm of arguing over countries below

insert bragging rights that canada is only the US's shadow. LOL

j/k I love canada but in all seriousness being a shadow works for them. I like my seasons to include temps above 20 degrees celcius

be who you want to be. when you vote, dont vote based upon their political party only, look at the issues at hand and vote for whom agrees with you the most.
