What about Skyrim?!?!?

Yea it's light armor. Gives 20 stam, 15 frost resistance, 15% increased damage on one-handed weapons, 15% to lockpicking, illusion spells cost 15% less to cast, and it completely muffles your sound in sneak mode. Thieves Guild quest line takes like 6-7 hours or so. It's fun and the guild in general will make you rich. You also get some pretty sick weapons.
 
holy shit. Anyone gong through as a mage join the mage guild. You get a helmet in the quest from looting morokei +100% magicka recover. And archmages robes at the end that give +100% magicka and +50 to Magicka and ALL spells cost 15% less magicka to cast. Its soooo good.
 
just finished my dragon bone armour upgraded all the way my total def is 233 or something like that and i got dual dadric swords which i upgraded to legendary. each do like 50 something damage
 
Trying to decide if i should buy it. I only played Elder Scrolls for about a week before it got stolen, and I'm just wondering, Is this game worth it? I've been a huge fan of the Fallout series
 
I'm on the Compelling Tribute quest right now where you take over the wagon, and we just killed a bunch of Stormcloacks but now it's telling me to report to Hadvar. So I walk up to him since he's accompanying me and I can't initiate a convo with him and all he says is to keep an eye out for Stormcloak spies. I've restarted and such, is there something I'm missing?
 
Sounds like whats happening to me. Except I'm stormcloaks and I just killed about of imperials.. The quset says report to ralof but it wont let me initiate a conversation with him. Idk whats up...
 
So, easy way to up my Smithing... kill animal, make leather, make leather armor, sell?

I want to be able to make dragon armor since I have like 12-15 dragon bones and like 18 dragon scales.
 
the one before dragon on the heavy armor side is better than dragon, but you need deadra hearts to make it so its a bitch

Doing this now, takes fkin forever im only on lvl40 and been trying to search for animals for the last hour...

I found a way to level up your speech to 100 as well...Go to the Black Briar in Rifton, talk to the bartender and ask him to tell you more about Maven Black Briar. Then persuade him, which will lvl you up 1 lvl each time you persuade him.

BTW Im pretty sure you need to be at least lvl 25 in speech to do this, so what you can do is ask the bartender abt the Briar, then instead of persuading you bribe him (about 50gold each time) until you hit 25. Every bribe is roughly half 1 lvlup if I remember)

 
Holy mother of fuck, I get this game yesterday afternoon and have logged 9 hours so far, anyone else Kajeet? I like them a lot, anyway, I just got out of the thelmar embassy party, this game is fun as fuck, Im gonna go play more.
 
best way to level up smithing is to make a shit ton of iron daggers (1 iron bar, 1 leather strip), sell to blacksmith, buy/find more supplies, repeat.
 
I actually thought the college of winterhold arc was too short. You start off as an eager student, but within literally no time at all, you're the archmage. Idk, seemed like it happened a little too fast. However, I still fucking loved every minute of the college of winterhold. Awesome game, mage fo life
 
Level 18 after about 2 days. pretty fun game! I am like a light mage with a one handed sword. I am doing the mage college quests.

Also i have it on pc. I am a little disappointed, i wanted graphics to be better.
 
Hahah I found the Ogmha infinitum and Chillrend, I love running into items that you find in previous games as well hahah.

Main quest needs to be longer.

Also stoked on how there is more Dwermer in this game, if I recall there was zero Dwermer in oblivion?

honestly theyre werent many quests, But every single one made you go in a really long cave. There was definitely one cave I was in for 2+ hours...
 
Hahaha no i am running everything at ultra settings. the highest everything can go. quad core 3.2ghz, 16gb of ram, ati 5770 overclocked, and a 1 tb hard drive. I was just wanting more like crysis graphics.

The textures are a huge step up from oblivion. But i just wanted some better models. I think they should rewrite the engine. The hair models aren't great. and other thin stuff too. It seems like paper that is kinda stiff.
 
Are you running it maxed out? It's definitely looks a lot better than oblivion, but yeah, not as big of an improvement as oblivion was over morrowind
 
Oops, just saw what you posted above. I totally agree, i think its time for a new engine, not just an updated one. To be fair though it is kind of unrealistic to expect Crysis graphics in such an open world game, simply because of the massive amount of terrain that the game renders at one time.

It seems the quickest way to level up is one handed sword with destro magic. I didnt' find that out until after hitting 100 in two handed weapons =/. Whatever though, game is still so much fun.
 
haha im not gonna buy this game or anything (my attention span for video games is rarely higher than that needed for online shooters) but it's fun just to hear you guys talk about it. "take that note, go to sleep in the abandoned shack, and the dark brotherhood will induct you into their college" or whatever and shit, game sounds great
