once again, its not so much what he said, but when and where he said that is very stupid... it was a fund raiser, heck, this guys makes music, if he wanted to say this out to the public, he could write a song, and millions of people would listen to it. now, well, a lot of peopleare ticked at him for what he did, and rightfully so.

and to say a thing like that does not help anyone, it makes the gap and double standard bigger. if something happens to a jew, we hear holocaust, no matter what. if an arabe gets searched at airport security, you can be sure to hear about it on the news. and if a black person is portrayed negatively, then it must be a racist move.

how many of us.. not politicians, just us would have stayed an extra 2 days on vacation at this point? he may have been doing work, but I'll tell my boss at the end of my vacation that I'm just going to stay on the beach for 2 more days and telecommute - I doubt i'd still have my job. He appointed the man that's the head of FEMA, all accountability points to one person in a complete fuckup like this.

I'm friends with a guy who goes by Davey D. He's a host for a radio show over in Sac. Kanye West had come on the show about two weeks ago and he was completely arrogant. In summary he pretty much said "Nobody cares who you are... Look, I even forgot your name.. But everyone knows me, I'm Kanye west!... Play my record already, I know you have to." Then Kanye hung up on him..
Listen to it for yourself. Primarily the last two clips. Now, I know Davey D was a little out of line with some of the questions and how he pushed him, but it shows kanye's real character.

im not white racist and far from rich and im republican. so is it not a perfect world b/c we have republicans and everyones not democratic? whats with the stereotypes?
politics are the new form of descrimination. since people and point out being a faggot or being black without being sued, so they moved on to politics. and thats the thing i hate about politics, opposition. everyone is angered and become violent about discussions even in the smallest degree.

the white man brought cocaine to america...george jung...but anyway...i personally feel that kanye has almost no legitamacy behind what he said. yes it might be a good point from a lot of peoples perspective. yes it is true that the government took a long time to actually get in there. but back to the point whoever said that whatever kanye says is bullshit is right...this time he just happened to stumble across a phrase and some examples that might have some truth behind it. for example when he points out the fact of how people are portrayed in the news. he says that you see a photo of a black person walking down the flooded street with food in his hands and its labelled looiting, next photo you see a white couple walking down the flooded street with food in their arms and its labelled finding food? does that make sense or is it just simply coincedence. usually i dont like to get involved with political shit becuase its mostly useless (some with voting...go read thoreau) but i am a big one on the legitimacy behind the person that says shit...and in this case kanye has none. although what he said has some good basic points behind it. it sucks that he said it and not another person.
by the way go listen to his dropout album, one song he preaches about jesus walking on water and shit, 2 songs later he tells the "biches" to smoke the pipe and pass it on to their man then go shake their "asses" on the floor...awesome rightous guy huh ?

i agree with kanye. maybe wrong place wrong time but someone had to say it. Its wrong and really wierd for the richest country in the world not to bring support to citizens in dire need for help.
