word on the street is that whaleback went out of buissnes before the start of the seasson, and has been bought by some NH native freeskier(i cant remember who) and some investors, and is going to be turned into a bear mt type area. They are planning on having a half pipe down the main trail in the middle, and over 50 rail and 20 jump spread out across the entire hill. It wont open till next year but should be sick!

evan dybvig bought it not only will the park and pipe kick ass his indoor trainging facility is gona be the shit hes gona have jumps into foam pits so u can learn a tick then take it to the snow there will also be a skate park i belive and some other dope shit its gona be sick

Whaleback is re opening sick and itz gonna be a freeride mountain Hella SICK!!!! I thinkn they should make a private mountain. Prvite mountains are a sick idea i mean if ur awesome skier u get ur own mountain short lines and no snow-plowers. theyve got a lot of private mountains in the mid west and there a cool concept
