This Crack is on my 1000 skis and there is several more like it. Why is it cracking my base?

It happens sometimes. Happened to my Faction prodigies and I've skied probably 100 days on them since those cracks started to appear. Tend to happen with harder base material which is more brittle.

Can a 5’6-7 person ride 183 wets/wides due to the rocker?

you could, it'd just be stupid. 5'7" is 170 cm, so they'd be 13cm over your head. they ski short blah blah blah but 13cm over your head doesn't offer any utility in a park/street ski. it works against the intent of the ski, they're soft and rockery so that they're forgiving and playful, not so you can add a decorative 13cm on to them

What about wides for all mtn?

better but still pretty dumb. if you want/need a ski that's 13cm over your head, you know it. and it's almost never for an all mtn ski, that's more of a downhill racer or big mtn kind of thing. and even then most people don't use skis 13cm over their head in big mtn, the cons just outweigh the pros

Gotcha

They are freakishly durable compared to everything else I’ve ever ridden

i havent had the best experience with durability. Its prolly because i didnt detune enough when I first got them but they have been steadily breaking since then. Maybe they are though, v's were the first ski that I did allot of rails on so I cant really compare.

squidwardzAre wets any good outside the park? Like could do do good in woods and stuff? Or should I get keys??

No. Wets suck for runs. And if your 5'9 or around there don't listen to anybody who hasn't actually riden a pair the will tell you to buy 171 buy 177 they will tell you 177 buy 183. They are so soft and rockered I can't butter or press them because my 177 are to short.

They are pretty far down my wish list because they are cheep used. Rn I only have soft skis and I get to go on a ski trip out west this year and want a stiffer pair for the big twicks lol

Mine are also about 3 seasons old- could be that the newer models are less durable idk

I've only put 4 days on my keys. I heavily detuned them underfoot and they can still carve pretty well. They got a medium flex but it flexes closer to the binding rather than in the tips/tails.

Im thinking about getting vishnus, but scared of edge cracks.if I fully detune the underfoot are they less prone to edge cracks . I mainly ride rails and rarely jumps.

yeah they’ll be fine if you detune. cracks will happen eventually but as long as you take care of your edges they should last a long time
