Western state to breck

ive learned alot from the other threads about western state but i havnt heard anyone mention how bad the drive is from western state to places like breck, vail, keystone

why would you go to breck if you went to western? just go to CB, if you want park then don't go to western...but it is about two hours and forty five minutes to breck from gunnison, so about 2 hours to vail, and 3 to keystone...bad idea.

i will certainly ski CB a ton but i cant completely give up on park, im not gonna travel to breck all the time, but i was wondering if making weekend trips every few weekends was reasonable?

The park at cb isn't very impressive but it should still be enough to get your fix in, maybe like 2 or 3 trips out to breck in the year would be reasonable, but theres really no reason to want to ski anywhere besides cb easy access and of the mountains iv skied in CO this year its my favorite terrain

My friend Chris goes to Wasted State and he goes up to Breck about every other weekend, but didn't go up too much since the pow was sick at CB.

they have me down for bisness major right now, but im not doing that, i think i want to do the recreationalo/resort management major any suggestions/imput?

and as for the U call me a retard but i didnt get in

recreation and resort management is the biggest waste of a degree ever. I went to western for 2 years under that program before I realized it was bullshit. If you want to get a job at a summer camp or being a raft guide it might help, but otherwise it's worthless. The business school isn't too bad there, that's what I would reccomend, or enviro science if you're into that stuff.

i would compare the drive from gunnison to breck or key to the drive from boulder/denver to those resorts. even tho the mileage is longer, there is rarely any other traffic along highways 50/285/92 between gunnison and summit county, so the time spent driving is really similar to i70 on the weekends.

my advice: if next year is a good snow year at cb, you wont want to be skiing park anyways.

after skiing cb nearly my whole life, park is pretty boring in comparison, even at key or breck

if you do the resort management it's a double major, rec and business. The rec half is what sucks. I don't know too much about the psych program, my gf got a psych minor and she liked the teachers, but I dunno.

dude stick with business, if you are tryin to get a decent paying job after school I would business is definitely the best way to go that doesn't involve intense physics/chemistry stuff like engineering.
