Seriously. Hate the game, not the player. Even the military I'd consider it OK to disrespect, as an institution, but not one member of it should be regarded with anything but respect. You may think it stupid to join (I personally agree it's not the greatest idea for my personal safety, but for someone else it may make financial sense or for another reason be a good option) but that's a personal decision, and if enough people didn't make it, you might have to be drafted.

it seems to me that this is exactly what he's doing. however, on a personal level, i feel like the morality of a lot of the people joining the military recently is a bit fucked up. i feel like (with the exception of the cold war) the goals of the US military have been more political and financial than anything else since WWII

I didn't agree with Iraq and I never will. My family friends were in the military before Operation Iraqi Freedom, and they didn't want to be deployed there, but they went,and were there to serve their Country. Not because they hated saddam and his regime, but because it was their duty.
 
i'm not going to insult your friends personally, and maybe it's just because i would never join the military myself, but i couldn't just blindly travel overseas to kill countless civilians. i just wouldn't do it, no matter what government officials said it was in our country's "best interests"
 
I understand your opinion and see where your coming from. I would personally not join the military, because i couldn't justify some of the actions our country takes. But even having that opinion doesn't give anybody a right to disrespect those who have served in the hopes of doing good for a country.
 
which i wouldn't. but i can sometimes have trouble distinguishing between the decisions group and the blind obedience of individuals that make it up.

Oh, and while you're wasting my time, most of America's military movements have been politically or finantionally motivated since World War 2.

Its fucked up, inhumane and and extremely horrific that these people get a kick from doing stuff like this. But they are using the 13 amendments to their fullest power. As fucked up as it is, They are freely to protest how and where they want.
 
They aren't saving anyones sorry ass. The war in Iraq is just for money and control for the government why else would we be there?

Also, The military deserves all the disrespecting it gets, the government is sending people in to a war you cannot and will never win. It's a death trap you retard. Furthermore people join the military knowing that they may or may not be sent into a war and there is obviously going to be a small chance that they will die. That's their decision I couldn't care less if they joined or not. My point is they joined so they have to suffer the consequences of war. If YOU want to personally support close friends who are overseas then I guess it's in your best intrest to do so.

I remember a few years back there was this group (idk if they are the same or if they are still around) but they would go picket funerals of passed Army men. And would legit cause a scene at this persons funeral.

So my dad found this biker group that follows these awful people around and if they started to act up the bikers would ask them to leave and if they didnt they got their ass beat.

Its sad wtf is wrong with some people
 
this is america. you can't legally kill people for doing things that upset you. especially when they aren't doing anything illegal themselves.
