Local homies like lets ski the chutes and the trees. And dont forget the moguls every run. Its like yo i get you guys like to ski pow and do turns with your 102 underfoot.

cut me some slack i just want to go fast ricky bobby no turns shake and bake.

I have fun hitting bumps sometimes but I do not understand why people choose to ski moguls run after run. Some people, including my parents' friends, claim Mary Jane is the best place to ski in colorado but it's like 90% uneven moguls. I just don't get it.

idk what you were skiin but if it felt like peanut butter it was not pow

Not sure where OP was but it sounds pretty fun.

Anyways Tahoe "powder" is often the texture of PB. I just call it fresh snow not pow or powpow.

Skiing pow is 1000% harder than it looks. Shoutout [tag=129716]@DeebieSkeebies[/tag] for humbling my east coast ass my first tome out west.

Double black runs of copper bowls two days of double black trees of steam boat. Wont go out there unless i got some straight yachts on my feet again

Have you been talking about Colorado this whole time??

And here I am thinking you’re talking about Pacific mountains. Colorado snow ain’t no peanut butter!!

Seriously, Colorado is on the West Coast like Missouri is on the East Coast.

I got some of the driest pow I've ever hit in Washington this season. Sure CO gets more dry and smaller amounts, but other places get plenty. Have had some real dry storms in tahoe too, And have had some hot garbage in CO.

Just depends on the storm. Honestly sometimes bulk is where it's at. It's pretty sick when you get huge storms and the base stacks up. Makes the spring laps rip.

You picked a good year to be at Crystal- I’d be surprised if they aren’t spinning green valley chair in the summer again. I hope they do anyway

Dude it's been killer! Got the unofficial plan of keeping parks through the end too. They asked me how long I'm down to stick around, and said even if we move up the mtn we can build a park up there.

I love spring. Hopefully I find some motivation to build some shit tonight. It's my monday and it's weathering but quicksilver could use some bigger hips and some more weird shit.

The last time I skied Crystal in July they had a couple rails set up nothing crazy, but that was a different time they have historically been pretty anti park

This is my first season hear but mgmt has been super suportive of the park. Trying to expand both in size, features etc. Trying to get a stash style park going for next year, expand on the flow park vibes, maybe get some bigger jumps.

Going to be building some beginner boxes and rails in the off season.

It's def a mountain that doesn't necessarily need a good park but it's been pretty cool to have management on board.

Powder looks easy on footage right? I had no problem transitionning from east coast ice to waist deep pow. Learn moguls and you will master powder
