Hey all. I have some park skis and 99ti mindvenders, but am looking for something a little wider and more playful. I usually ski at Squaw, but also sometimes Colorado or Utah. I like trees primarily and the occasional chute.

Looking at getting some Jeff 108’s, Wildcat 108s or death wishes, or maybe bent 110s. Can anyone help me decide? Having a bit of analysis paralysis lol. Thanks!

If you’re close enough to Reno you can demo all the moment skis you mentioned.

I would say the cat 108 is a little more playful than the wish 112. I have both and love both but if I’m picking one of the two for playfulness I’m giving the nod to the wc 108. They still float fairly well and feel light enough on feet.

Thanks for the reply helps a ton. I’m not that close to Reno but might have to just suck it up and make the drive over to try them out.

You know if moment does demo tours in Washington? Trying some stuff before I buy. Have a whole bunch of stuff to try. Unleashed 108, sender free 110, wildcat 108. Looking for something that's pretty playful and would also work well as a comp ski. On paper I'm leaning towards the wc and sender. Trying the unleashed this weekend and pretty hyped. I haven't skied anything with much metal before.

From what I’ve seen I think it’s just out of the factory in Reno. But sometimes they will do a demo day at a non-Tahoe resort. Seems pretty rare though :/

https://www.momentskis.com/apps/store-locator/

you can use their dealer locator to see who’s around you, reach out and see if any of the local places offer demo or rentals.

It’s worth the drive. They’ll give you a free factory tour with beer for your trouble. Seeing the whole fleet in person is always fun too.

You can demo basically everything minus the reserve stuff and park skis, though I don’t think they have blades in the current fleet either for demo.

on moments website they have a map and a list of every ski shop that does demos. i’m pretty sure there is one up in washington. scroll to the bottom of their website page and find the little label for demos i think. it was hard to find on the website for me.
