WEST 49, anyone ever been there, i guess its a chain of stores in canada and i have heard its pretty sick and a great place to work

Not the greatest, if you want a place thats almost like it but alot better, work at Surf 66.. The employees are like family and soo relaxed.

west49 is the place where everyone shoplifts. its a piece of shit store with everything overpriced and the female employees have their pants lower then the guys. mainly for younger teenage kids.

if i'm getting any skate stuff its going to be from source.

ya im a young teen and it seems so many people who dont skateboard wear west 49 shirts i have a shirt that says west 49 but it was a gift and back in the day i was in love with skate boarding

and most of the employees are dressed like punks

i have one at my mall with a skatepark inside its pretty sick.

but if your looking for more quality clothing go to other skate shops that are smaller because they usually sell more specific brands or products.

kinda lame because as a huge chain we definitely have alot more buying power then the local skateshops, yet we haven't seen any reductions in skate prices while the local shops have. also the shoe selection is mostly pretty bad. we get one colorway in anything and it usually sucks. sometimes there are good finds though. just sell too much shitty stuff that it overpowers the good stuff we have.
