ya it was cheap and im a steeler fan and il admit it, i was mad cause the pats got 15 yards but then cassel went and fumbled again so its all good

on a side note all the steelers fans can thank matt light, cassel, moss, slater and our whole defense for handing you the game. That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen, and I watched the lions on thursday.

Atleast the jets lost too
 
the steelers are 9-3 with the hardest schedule in the NFL because the steelers are beasts, not because they need the other team to "hand" them the game. they took it.

i watched the entire thing. the only gift we got was slater fumbling the kickoff. just because matt cassell throws the football to the other team and matt light can't block one of, if not the best, linebackers in the NFL doesn't mean the steelers didn't force mistakes. you think those mistakes happen against the lions?

don't hate em cuz you ain't em anymore. maybe you'll get another chance to 'give it away' to us again in the playoffs.
 
it was a clean hit btw. it wasnt helmet to helmet and it was a continuation of a tip. he'll get fined for it because hits like that have been fined. thats fine, it was vicious. welkers a tough dude.
in the first half, the patriots LET the steelers waltz back into the game. but 30 unanswered points (23 in the second half) and ur gonna sit here and tell me that the steelers didnt take it? gimme a damn break. the reason the patriots didnt beat the giants last year is because with the exception of teddy bruschi, is cuz everyone else on the pats is just like their coach and has not an ounce of heart.

 
ha, yeah, tryin not to think about that. let's just say we'd appreciate it if they were as loving and thoughtful as they were today and "give" it to us again, because we can't do shit against them in the playoffs.
 
hahahaha as soon as i walked into the break room i saw that hit and came right there. i was just like oh my god, he's dead. he is a trooper though, but i really wouldn't call it cheap. it was a clean hit and the ball was tipped...it's fucking football. he'll be getting a nice fine though.

watch this guy return kickoffs, hes a savage, there will be a dude a foot away waiting for him to catch it so he can pounce on him and he still will not fair catch it, and may even dodge the guy, welker is a beast, never goes down, always fights for more yards, set the record for most receptions in a super bowl and there is a reason so it, hes one of the top 10 players in the nfl no question

not even close to a top 10 player. he might be a top 10 receiver but hes a product of a system. theres a reason that he had 112 catches last year for less than 1200 yards. it because they were all shit passes available because randy moss attracted 3 defenders. and just cuz some of those passes were over the middle doesnt mean hes a great receiver, hes just tough. we know that. but hes not a top 30 player in the nfl. 1 touchdown in 3 years with miami and your gonna sit here and say that hes a top 10 player in this league? thats a ridiculous claim
 
not even close. There are many players that could come into NE and fill his exact role. Hes a product of the system just like cassel. I would love to see one of these players go to another team, they would absolutely tank.

 
well he may not be in in the top ten, there is no denying he is fucking dirty. But i would hate to see him go to another team, say the bills? i mean that would suck having to watch him loose because his team could only score 3 points on the NFL's 23rd ranked defense.
