if they're just powder skis, don't mount them center, mount them back, if they're center mounted you'll be leaning back to keep your tips up

i mounted my arv's at rec. and it seems a little to far back for me...i would've gone 2-3cm's forward.

if your ride park with them i'd mount them a little forward like 1 or 2 but if not just mount where the ski was meant to be mounted.

"Do you smell what im steppin in?"

get back, if you only ride pow with them, u can even put em behind the allmountain point

if they are strictly pow....and for BC booters..DEFInately center mount them...your fuckn retarded whoever said center mounting pow skis is wrong...its the only way to do it nigga..

core centre at most if ur ridin stricktly pow otherwise like mentionned above there is a chance u will be leanin back like a mofo unless u reeeely know what ur doin

my pow skis are 1cm back from true center for more hot bc bootah aktchun.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

I mounted my Made'Ns at core center and I wouldn't have it any other way. my tips don't sink at all and I can ski switch in pow nicely. :)

because I like pooh.

hahaha stupid dolphins.

I'm at core centre on my pow skis, feels awkward, best i've heard is about 2cm behind core centre. Problem with core centre on pow skis is that it restricts the ability to pull ur tip out of pow, especially when its deep. It's easier when your mount back of core centre because you have more mobility and ability to rock.

core center on pow skis? i didnt even mount my park skis core center? ok, pretty much depends on the length and the waist of the skis. i mean that you could core center mount the prophets without sinking your tips. but on normal fat skis i would get back at least to the allmountain mounting point. just for me, never tried it though

go 3cms back of center and start droppin bombs into pow switch...i got the mojo90 mounted 3cms back of center and they are still sick in the pow...

the mojo 105 i mounted 4cms back and I´ll let you know tommorrow how they are...

work to live...not live to work.

work to ski...but only if you ski to work. The simple equation to skibumming 101

...i didnt do it

i recomend 2 or 3 cm behind core center they will be a litle bit back so they will still be good for riding deep pow and close enogh to core center to ride switch pow and park

what happined to drugs, sex, & rock and roll...now adays we have aids crack and techno.......

why would you put them behind where they are supposed to be mounted? they sidecut would get fucked up just like when you mount infront and you wouldnt ever need that much tip on a ski

it kind of depends wut skia youre using for pow.if u are gonna use something with abour a 85-95mm waist then u might wanna mount them back more.if u are gonna ude like a made'n' or a prophet then you can mount at center because it has enough surface area to keep your tips up

^exactly. the reason i put my elizabeths so far up is cuz i'm a midget and they still have plenty of surface area for me to float like a champ forwards or backwards.

yea.if your goonna use a narrower ski then mount it back further

just mount them at the factory reccommended, they are designed and tested so for the bindings to be mounted that way. Thats why skis that are made for park are closer to center and powder skis are usually a little farther back. Most of the hard core powder skis aren't even twins and their mounted farther back to keep your tips up

im not sure about the where to mount each ski, just ask other people,i know vicious has a lot of pow skis and knows lots about equipment

my spatulas are center mounted, but that's where they are designed to be mounted. Makes them turn unbelievably easy while floating awesome (all the width is underfoot). I would suggest factory mount on any straight powder ski

personally i dont like midsole mounts. it seems too far back. I would go about 4cm infront of midsole do u still float in pow well but feel good too.

midsole, if not it might mess up the dynamics and how the ski is gonna work in the soft stuff

Equipment is expensive, and i need lots of new stuff, i love being a poor college student!!!!

uhg I had midsole on my pow skis and hated it. so I remounted....and yes I think the reason core center on mine feel so perfect is cause my tips don't sink cause my tips are like 140mm wide.
