ok, heres the deal my dad said we could go somewhere for feb. break next year. I live in nh and have never skied out of the east coast. I was wondering what mountain(area) would be the best skiing for the week. I was thinking snow summit/big bear. Or whistler/blackcomb.whatever your input is id appreciate it

I would tell you to go to Vail just because of all the terrain you can ride in the back country. plus the park isn't too shabby. If you wanna ski some steep shit go to Jackson hole. Everything there is cliffs steeps shit like that. its amazing. If you wanna ride an amazin park to go Mammoth. A lot of pros ride there too. If you wanna ride the capital of freeskiing go to Whistler. Biggest resort in North America an maybe the world. Has unbelieveable terrain an very sick parks

Im sure vail and whistlers park are almost as good as mammoths.

I think whistler has more consistent snowfall, dont count on vail for pow, I cant speak for the other areas however.

If you have a choice of anyplace out west, big bear should be last on your list. I would say Whistler definitely should be your goal, with tahoe, mammoth, and jackson below that in, in that order. El Nino next year though, Big bear could get dumped on.
