Wow, anyone who says racers work harder than freestylers is a retard. However, anyone who says freestylers work harder than racers is also a retard. If you can carve a perfect turn but can't drop in, you should shut your mouth. If you can slide a 30 foot kink but can't get a ski on edge to make a good looking turn, you should shut your mouth. These are two different sports, it's like saying basketball players work harder than soccer players. There are so many aspects to each sport that need perfection. Having a cleaner arc is just like having a more stylish 540. You don't see vert skaters giving shit to street skaters. It's the same thing, and the kids that knock the other kids are just ignorant. Of course, you can have a personal favorite, but talking shit about the less favorite, especially if you know nothing about it, is fucking stupid. Ski racing was the roots that freestyle developed from, but freeriders are taking it to new levels. Everyone needs to respect each other. Daron was totally off to say shit about freestyle, just like Tanner was wrong. Tanner doesn't know who can drop in and who can't, and how can Daron be sure Tanner couldn't finish a Downhill? Daron could be right, but the fact that he said it is stupid. Of course, freestyle is not repetative, but neither is racing. These two sports need to give each other a lot more respect.
