Went Sailing with The Grateful Dead Today

There in town right now here in Buffalo and today was there off day before there concert with Bob Dylan tomorrow. The city set up a thing so they could go sailing and we new the people who were taking them out. I got to hang out with them and there the coolest people ever. Phill Lesh was in a grumpy mood, but Bob the drummer was so nice. I talked to him for a while and he signed my guitar. They gave us tickets too. I Love those guys.

yea I saw the dead with dylan in wisconsin this past sunday. great show. I'm more of a dylan fan though, never liked the dead much until now. they put on an awesome show. the opening band started at 4 and the dead got done playing at 11:15. and there were very short breaks in between the opener, dylan, and the dead, and then maybe a half hour break between the dead's two sets. so I definitely got my money's worth. go to the show if it comes to your town.

HEY man i was at the show at darien lakes. i missed bob dylan though. it was suuuuuuch a great show. scarlet begonias>fire on the mountain, oh baby oh baby oH!

uhh jerry's missing finger was on his pick hand, so unless he was finger picking, that doesn't take much talent to strum a pick with one finger missing.

yeah it was pretty good. That new lady is good too but she can be a little much once and awhile. Bob Dylan wasn't all that great anyways.

 
i fucking missed dylan, we had no idea the concert started so early. 4 in the afternoon, we weren't even at the venue yet. but i thought he was good with the dead. i saw him last summer and it was a dissapointment, he sounded real bad and didnt move much. at this show he was more lively and sounded better. even though he forgot lyrics.

O yeah sorry, I ment Bill signed it, even though he's the drummer its still sweet. We sailed out of a place called RCR in Buffalo. Its that one boat marina under the skyway. They went out with Seven Sea's Sailing. Im going to see if they can get CSN to go out with them. David crosby would love it.

The guy who bumped it is saying that, lately, if someone were to post something like this, the first few posts would say "CLAIM!" and stuff like that. What does that have to do with me not being here long enough?

And the guy that bumped it joined in 2006, also. I don't get where you are going with this?
 
I was saying that the real hate on this site was before 06. Not trying to single you out or call you a newb but that is childish but people used to hate way more than they do now.
 
yea i've seen alot of hate sometimes when reading old threads, but the site has just changed and as katt williams says.. there will always be haters, i just found it funny that back when this thread was created, there wasn't anything along the lines of a "claim" response
