Howdy dudey all yall! Happy new years and all that jazz. I am posting about trying to find a good pair of rockered skis that that may be a little on the "gurthy" side. The goal is to find a ski that i can rip thru the park and get sendy on when i am working (im a patroller in windham ny) i typically like to shred the whole damn mountain, and i like to land switch, or i want to get better at it, at the very least. I am trying to progress in the park a little bit as well.

Thanks ns! Hope the shred is treating you nicely, and continues to in years to come. Yadda yadda yadda, tupac shakur.

If hes looking for a parky ski on the wide side the Atris, Enforcer, and Sick days wont be too good. All are pretty stiff and have a dropped tail so for switch landings they would kinda blow as a daily. The opus, friends, and Anima could be cool but may be on the too fat side of things for a daily.

Personal favorite from that list is the Nomad 105. Probably a good choice as it is a very good all around ski. As stated elsewhere, Kartel 98/108, Sego Bighorn 106, Sego Tater Tots, Amplid Multiplayer, Jskis Vacation / Allplay, Shreditor 102, etc are all sick skis that fit your criteria.

The atris is a half twin so as long as you’re not in the crud you’d be a-ok with switch landings. That’s also why I added the anima. Which has a shorter radius than the atris so you can actually rip on it on groomers and ice but it’s got a buttery tip and tail to have fun on. If you’re afraid of having “too much ski” with how wide they are I would go with a soul rider or kartel. But I use the anima as my daily because I got tired of swapping from my blends and atrises in between runs. In my opinion it’s the best of both worlds.

In all honesty I would try to find a shop that demos some of their skis and see what you like because what you want in a ski is all you. I can tell you what I want and like all day but you could like something different. I love the nomad for soft days but the flat camber is a real bummer in the east coast of you go outside the park. (For me). Go demonwhat you can. Try different stuff. Find what gives you that fuck yeah feeling and get that.
