i ran a stop sign, if i plead guilty its 3pts and around how much do you think the ticket is? and what ways can i get around the insurance not finding out?

on the ticket it says, went through stop sign. and ive heard that it does go up. not sure how much but it does go up

what state do you live in ? Most states if you get a ticket in another state you have to pay it but they won't put the points on you license

yes, if you get 3 points your insurance will go up.

If its at all plausible, try to fight it. But be prepared that if you take it to court (usually you go to a magistrate first, then to court - in front of a judge) they (the court) can demand payment before you leave. The wosrt case scenario when you take it to court is you have to pay the ticket and you get stuck with the insurance and point hike, the best case scenario, the ticket is thrown out. Either way there is usually at least a couple months to get the money together before you see a judge.

yeah it will go up. it will go up as soon as your insurance lapses becuase most insurance companies are prepay, meaning you pay in say july, and dont pay again until the following july. you might be able to postpone it for a year from your insurance finding out if you protest it or pay the fine plus an extra dollar. then you will have one year off from the violation and one less year you have to pay more insurance.

 
obivously^ and im not too woried casue i know both the judge personaly and the towns main lawyer. im hopein to get it lowerd to a parkin on pavement. but still does anyone know how much a stop sign violation ticket is?

if its a ticket it should have how much its for written on it, either hand written by the cop, or there should be a list of fines on the back. How else aree you supposed to pay it? Are you sure you got a ticket and not a written warning?
