Well, I fucked up.

last night after practice i went to the parking lot of our schools stadium, I put my gear in my trunk and noticed that I left my paintball gun in the trunk with a little air from the night before..........Im pretty sure by this point you know what happens next but im going to tell you anyway, I grabbed the paintball marker, set it up and let a few shots fly at a friend of mine who was putting his gear in the trunk, striking him his car and another player. dumb? yea im quite aware at this point. so this morning i get a text from my father saying that they kid whoms car had I shot went home and told his father. great right? it gets even better. apparently the kids dad informed our coach about what had happened the night before. Our coach ended up taking this information to the school. right before the first bell i see our vice principal at the door, and well thats when it all sunk in. They brought me down to the principals office and we discussed what had happened the night before and needless to say ive been suspended for three days along with the chance expulsion. i go to a Cathloic highschool and my family has sacrificed alot for me to to go there, and i just dont know if i can face them if i were to get expelled.Ive never been in a situation like this and I was curious as to see if newschoolers would have any helpful input as to what i can do to improve my current situation.

TL;DR-Shot a teammate with a paintball gun after practice on school property, he ended up telling his father, who told our coach, who brought the information to our principal. and yea im in deep shit.

Own up to it and dont be a little bitch. Assuming your parentals are uptight, just tell them it was a mistake and thats all you can say.

humble as possible. you fucked up and they want to see that you wont again. be active in your community and prove that you are working towards bettering yourself. dont just sit on your ass for these 3 days, put yourslef to work somehow.

i doubt youll be expelled if own up to your actions and are mature

THANK YOU, you were one of the few people who see it this way, I know what I did was wrong but it really shouldent have escalated to this point.

a. did your "friend" have a nice car?b. did you dent it?

if yes to the above, your an idiot and wrong.

If no to the above, then he is an idiot and you are right.

That was pretty stupid of you but it's definitely something I would have done in high school. I doubt you'll be expelled, but hopefully you've learned from this and now realize that guns(even paintball guns) + school = serious business.

Your "stadium"

Lol.

So you shot somebody and their car with a paintball gun and now you're mad you got in trouble? What the hell?

Are you shocked that everyone didn't say nice job well done johnny?

WHAT THE FUCK AM I READING JPEG

/shit threads

I understand what I did was wrong and ive blamed nobody but myself, but you have to atleast moderately understand how things like this get blown way out of preportion.

everyone these days is such a candy ass bitch. no practical jokes can be played with out somones feelings being hurt or somone becomming sad...

u should call the kid and his dad and be like "listin guys.. i was just joaking around and im sorry this happened. if you need some touch up paint id be happy to buy it and apply it. does your son also need a bath and a blanket? these i can provide". the wight a appoligie essay to the school and make a point on how guns are wrong and that they should never be alowed at school. one page of wighting single spaced should be good.

but yea that kid and his parents and they school are all pussies.

At least you will get expelled for something somewhat hilarious, I got expelled last September for selling on campus. Do anything in your will to push for a suspension, even if its for a long ass time. If the school I got expelled from had decided to press charges instead of expelling me, I would be looking at a max $20,000 fine and 20 years in prison. I wasn't really in the position to push for only a suspension but regardless even if you do get expelled, it's not the end of the world. Just apply to another private school and if you withdraw from the school before your expulsion than it does not show up on your transcript. Good luck bro

That is the most 14-year-old thing I've ever heard. you got in trouble because you shot someone with your paintball gun good job.

Sounds like something I'd do haha

That sucks man, it's a dumb move, you're right, but you gotta have fun every once in a while, not like a paintball is going to kill someone, I play paintball often and its no big deal, I could see you having to pay money to fix the car (if you damaged it...)

Good luck

sounds like:

your dumb for doing that,

the kid is a bitch for tattling,

tattling is now acceptable for the bitch because he was conditioned by lame father,

dumb school enforces dumb rules at the will of angry parents,

you tell the internet,

your story sucks.

this dude's right, you could've gotten busted much worse, police involvement, etc.

that kid's a bitch though.

This is the most middle school story I've ever heard

"hehehe I'm gunna shoot my friend"

"Ouch I'm telling!!!1!!1" "Dad a mean kid at school 2day hit me with his paintball gun :("

"Lets tell the principal so this kid can learn a lesson about having a little fun."

Worst case scenario you get expelled from a catholic high school and get to actually enjoy your last semester of high school at a public school

Because it's generally perfectly acceptable to bring a paintball gun on school property and shoot somebody and their car.

Sure bro

your teammate is such a bitch for narcing on you like that... you were obviously joking around and it's not like you were doing something that was morally wrong. boys will be boys and this kid deserves whatever he has coming for him

thats the pussiest story ive ever heard in my life. if you get expelled for that you should be happy. and if your parents are mad at you for it then ill be upset at the world

OP seems pretty humble, and admitted he fucked up the whole time. Like someone mentioned above do some community service on your three days off, it will make you look way better. Also, if this happened at my high school they would no doubt expel you for 180 days for having a gun on school property, even if it is just a paintball gun. My school was also a public school, they were just wicked strict.

If you get expelled, that's seriously fucked up.

I don't get it... even 12 years ago we got away with so much more without anyone really caring. It's highschool. Whatever. We used to butter each others windshields, mustard hoods, tp houses like no other. hard boiled egg into a cracked rear window.. egg rolls under seat and produces most god awful scent in a few hours.

I understand it's a Catholic school, but mistakes are meant to be made. That's how you learn. No one is hurt so clearly any damage you caused can be paid for. I imagine a dent from a paintball gun can be repaired with paintless dent repair and shouldn't cost more than $200 depending on size. Whatever, a week of parttime work and you will have learned your lesson (which is really pretty minor).

If you are this humble about doing something so minor, you've got a really good head on your shoulders and your parents are doing something right. Good for you.

Hopefully the kid casually mentioned to his parents about a dent rather than being a bitch about the situation. I can see the parents taking it too far, but another student... I really hope you don't have to hang around people like that.

Best thing you can probably say, "I'm sorry, I made a mistake and have already learned from my actions.I feel awful about it and will take responsibility for whatever work needs to be done to fix it."

Expelling you would do absolutely nothing if not make the situation worse.

another question, lets say i do get kicked out. Ive heard from more than one person that its too late in my senior year to transfer to my nearest public school, would that mean my only other option would be cyber school?

nothing will happen i go to a jesuit high school in boston, never seen one kid kicked out, and trust me if u want the details on what they got a way with pm me, u will be fine trust me, catholic school dont kick kids out
