Well i cant afford and ipod

get a used shuffle on ebay. its perfect for skiing. dont have to worry about breaking it and 5 hours is plenty of tunes for a day.

If you live near any resort with a club intrawest, (blue, tramblant, Whistler, Panorama) get your parents to walk around and look like a rich family, then a person will come up two you and ask you if you would like to take a tour of their hotel and as a reward they will give you a free ipod shuffle, of $120 gift cirtificate.

I know some people who know some people who rob some people. Well they rob stores. Then sell it for like 150 bucks.

If I'm listening to my ipod I usually just have it on a playlist, with shuffle on, which is basically the same as an Ipod shuffle.

The screen really isn't that important when you've only got enough room to put on the songs you absolutely want to listen to.

i got a sony 512mB for 70 bucks, pretty good deal and its small ,decent memory and 70hours of battery life

I have a cheap Creative. Sometimes it randomly stops working, and there's no screen, and it only holds about 30 songs...but other than that, it's pretty dope.

shuffles good for skiin not much memory if your want a good alternative for the video get the creative Vision:M or my friend has a rio harddrive and really likes it

does it really make you better skiing with it? i find it annoying trying to talk to people listening to their ipod

i've just got some $20 one that holds about 60 songs and i love it...i can do anything to it and if i break it skiing or biking i dont care

I have a sandisk sansa 8GB, no hard drive (you really don't want one when skiing), movie, picture, and radio playback, and about the price of a 4GB nano.

I'd recommend it.

That iaudio one looks really awesome, I'd like to hear some reviews about it though.

i'm pretty happy with both of my iPods... and now i have a phone with an mp3 player, and that iaudio player looked pretty sick... and dude if you want to get an iPod for cheep just go to eBay.. i got one for like $20 but i had to spend like $100 to fix it.. and if i spent like $70 right away i coud have gotten a for sure working one.. but yah thats just a thought if you want to jump on the iPod wagon
