so my pops is wondering how to add new music to my music library in itunes on a mac... and goes and deletes my whole library, on the basis that he would delete it, put the new stuff in and then bring it all back. so he puts it all in the trash and empties the trash. all twenty three thousand songs, down the shitter. so now i have a couple hundred songs... good. anybody know if there is some version of Norton or something that can do at least a partial recovery (for a mac)? thanks.

if you had windows which I see you dont your coulda did system restore, look in your mac tools and see if theres something similar

did he secure empty trash or just empty trash...cause if he emptied trash not secure emptied trash then you might be able to get those songs back
