is it new? when you first log in above the online it says 'welcome to NS (name)' or something like that all these new things are making me wonder wether they've always been there or it's just noples and his magic

Nope, that's my magic. On any of the new pages I've made (Events Calendar, Park Updates, Account tools, Help sections, and now the News!) when you login you won't get redirected! You will instead be given a welcome message.
