Welch village park

only time can tell...it has progressed greatly over the past years and im sure if Seyffers are working with welch again it shall be another good year.

Starting this season...we will begin phase 1 of a Terrain Park makeover. For this year, the we plan to keep the park where it is and have a beginner/intermediate park as well. In the next couple of years however, we are planning to expand and even move park to longer terrain which not as steep. This will enable is to make more jumps and more lines. Updates will be posted throughout the different phases of the process. This is a difficult year to do a lot of terrain park remodeling because of the huge efforts and resources that we are putting into our new Back Bowl that will open at Christmas time....80 new acres, 11 new runs, brand-new quad chair, new snowmaking etc.

BACK BOWL!! finally they've been working on that forever. better be open for winter break or im going to be pissed. when is the alpha lodge going to be done?

That might take a little longer. The Back Bowl is scheduled to open Dec. 26th...all runs will be black-diamonds including one double-black.

haha i was joking. but im actually stoked to ride the back bowl. my favorite thing to do in skiing is just haul ass down a run that is completely foreign to me. as safe as that sounds.

i am afraid of a dbl black, all things are scary in the beginning, should this be done, i don't know to much, most of the time is spent with my iminary friend smooog, he is kind and happy most of the time, once in awhile is gets mad, you don't want smooog mad, hello, seems like it is raining outside, wow, to bad i still don't live in duluth, smooog liked that town, until "it" made him mad, thanks for listening......

Welch sucks you dont want to ski there. its prolly the worst ski resort in minnesota. and all the kids there are dicks. the ones with the nice camera that think they're the shit. are stupid. haha you tony.

JK!!! LOVE YOU!! WELCH PARK KILLS IT

some land behind the main runs it has more steeps and drops and isnt grommed as much. or atleast i hope welch doesnt groom it often.

I'll answer some of your Back Bowl questions but I have save some fo the surprise for December. There will be 11 new runs this year...one of which will not be groomed all year. We are also considering a wide tree skiing run but we are not sure if that will be ready this year. All the runs are steep(Chicken steep) and narrow with less of a run-out at the bottom. We will also have a new Ski Patrol Trailer at the bottom in case you need it.
