Welch terrain park?

They have said that there will be a terrain park, But... in the past they have not all ways followed through with what they promise
 
i wouldn't be surprised if they cut it. it's been a depressing sight for a few years now.
 
Yeah they through us on a tiny run tucked in the back where there was only enough space for us to put up one rail line...jumps will never happen...if they do set one up next season it'll be the same old stuff and probably less of it.
 
Whats up with the head guy in charge of what you guys set up? Some one told me he doesnt let you guys set up anything and when you do he usually makes you guys take shit down if he feels its 'dangerous'. Please explain.
 
I think it also has to do with the fact that the owner wants to keep welch a "family resort". and for the "dangerous" is that welch has a lot of new skiers/gapers and for example a rail with a gap more people would get hurt.
 
met the owner this past season. asked why the terrain park was so bad and he told me that they didnt like to cater to that crowd. they would prefer the mountain to stay a family friendly mountain where little kids can come and learn to ski. basically what it comes down to is even if there is a park it will suck because it will be on a short run that wont be maintained. he also didnt understand why my poles were shorter than his..
 
I went to afton for my last two days of the season, only had two terrain parks ( apparently they have a ton more ) I absolutely loved it, food was not even close to expensive as welch's stuff, they sell pie! Their fries are absolutely fucking amazing. I can say nothing bad about afton yet.
 
yeah i really don't like buck anymore. the reason the park sucks is because they fired both of the park guys. i went to afton a couple of times this year, and it was crazy how much better it was.
 
How the hell would you know? I didnt even know you til like two years ago and that was when it was on the bunny hill.
 
I liked the terrain they had set up 2 years ago on the right side of the mountain by the main life but last years was okay even though that run was skinny as fuck
