nice maneuvers! try framing up some of the shots with the lip of the jump or landing etc. it'll add a lot to the photo.

I agree. Not everybody does, but I like to have more going on. Most of these are cropped to make the skiers bigger, since they ski better than I shoot. IMO the best back drop is the other side of the valley. My problem that day was the video camera, and the second lip to the jump, as I couldn't get just above the lip where I like to be.

We get paid to be constantly maintaining and inspecting the features of our terrain park, that is why everything is always mint at welch....one step ahead

Yeah, they're out there killing it, but I always see them working on the feature as well.

Welch is the ONLY park around here where I see the park crew out raking the features, and constantly maintaining the park.

thats a great policy to tell you the truth, at sunburst everyone just sits around and lets everything get rutted up. I always end fixing my own shit that i want to hit. If they paid and let me ride also the park would be mint also
