Welch Park

Welch has been pretty dope this year, I'm sure you'll have fun.
 
yeah i saw you. that snow was insane. Im goin on Thursday (well tomorrow to but to train) anyone else goin Thursday?
 
i totally saw you!..i ski (obviously) and work there...i was working the quad lift that ran up next to bak and the park...white pants/light blue and green jacket/burton hat/white oakley crowbars...

So what happened to that run thats like the halfpipe sort of? Why is it not flat in the middle? I used to love goin down that one but now its got those ice mounds and its just not as fun as it used to be. Did the snow they make just melt and then freeze into ice so they couldnt move it or what?
 
They did the mounds thing on the bunny hill and nanny's two years ago and people liked it. I guess they stuck with it for a percentage of people who need to jump off mounds because they can't handle the park. I'm not totally sure of the motives, I don't work there, but I bet it has something to do wit not wanting to maintain a pipe made of ice too.
 
we set two new rails yesterday, another flat shotgun thats like 16 feet on top left, and next to that on the right of the pad is the dragon tail, it looks pretty dope
 
Welch is going to be super sick this weekend so if you can battle the cold weather you all should make it. We have quite a large selection of rails to hit on the hill, not really any jumps, but our rails are good. COME OUT!! Alex and I will be raking the parking all day saturday and sunday so you know it will be perfect.

yeah i couldn't tell ya either...i haven't been skiing in a week just because im busy organizing college stuff right now...hopefully they have added the lines back in.
 
Well I was gonna ice fish but fuck that I'm skiing. Not that anybody cares....

Does anybody know whats going on with those two boxed that were being worked on under the lift?
 
they redid all of the mogoules...rode up the lift over them today...they need like 2/3more weekends of skiing on them for them to be good again...

and the park is in really good shape :)
