yeah, that's what i assumed. we just hit shit on campus, jumped off parking ramps, the kinds of things you can only do with a shit ton of snow :D
 
dude it stayed so fresh all day i was there from noon till like 7 and it was perfect all day...we always kept finding new pow...

finally did backflips again been like a year
 
Was that you guys who built the booter on duds? I saw someone throw a backflip off that.

Today was pretty sweet though, other than the part where I jumped out of my binding while i was 180'ing to switch. Spent a good 10 minutes under that back lift making sure I didn't break anything on the binding.
 
yeah that was us....it was sweet....until some boarder decided he would front flip off it and just make the biggest indent in it, so we decided to go find something new...hah
 
I thin there should be a sign by that bell for the 80, so hopefully a few less little pricks ring it. Last time I was out there on a weekend I swear to god I yelled fuck you at at least 5 gapers doing that, most of which had goggle gaps wider than their skis.
 
I agree. It's just annoying when people ring it constantly.

Is anyone gonna be up there tomorrow night? I'll probably be there for a while. I'll be in a black coat, gray pants, black encore helmet.

I dont really care as much if people ring it, I guess if they were in the park using the stuff, fine, but when I'm in a bad mood and then these gapers come through the park just to ring that bell, well, fuck is about the only thing that does the job. I guess your right tho, everybody should be able to have fun.

Thats why I dont go to Hyland, I dont have to and I'm not good enough to tell the difference anyways.

Who can argue with ^that^, and thats from the last time I was out there, a way long time ago, for sure the best jump in the history of welch.
 
the jump line was so prime the other night...

but stupid me goes way to fast into the first one lands at the bottom of the landing then hauls into the second one...and yeah never even touched the landing i over shot it so fast....

that was the first time out since the jeep comp...and i forgot at the jeep comp there was hardcore wind pushing me back up the hill haha
 
I've never seen so many legit landings for rails either, its money. The landing for the flat rail is the size of the landing to our biggest jump last year.
 
Haha, I did the same thing on that first one the other day. Except instead of landing when I overshot it, I caught an edge and did a faceplant and fucked up my thumb. It's like 3 times normal size right now. I can still hold a pole though, so its all good.
 
now if anybody is really that bored that they have another question to ask about who the fuck I am as me with PM, cause this is the welch thread, not the official Kevin is a moron thread.
 
Im gonna be a hypocrite here, I still want to know who the guys were that saw me almost rack my nuts on welch's saddle box a while back. I was wearing a lot of camo and at least 3 of you saw it and were amused.
 
I saw an old guy overjump the second table, he got up, looked at me, and hes like "I overjumped that baby" like it was the sickest thing ever, then he went and did the rainbow box. Then I fell on the flat rail, I felt dumb.
 
On Tuesday they said they'd for sure be open this weekend. Also, they took out the 80 footer and the step down jump. I wonder what else they'll take out before this weekend.
 
yeah i heard they took it out, like a week ago i had a dream that the snow around the 80 melted and it went flying down the hill and hit each jump, idk that was kinda random but it was funniest dream i have had in a while
 
this is an old bump... but once again im coming back home to red wing for thanksgiving.. ive looked on welch's website and didnt see if they were going to be open the day after thanks giving or not this year.. so are they? or is it thanksgiving day that they open? i cant remember.
