Weirdest thing you grinded on skis.

We just had our first snowfall here in Brigham(Qc) and I immediatly felt the need to grind something on my skis. Having no setup at home, I was looking for something quick and easy to calm my envy. I ended up grinding an old mailbox pole half mounted on a wooden platform.

This made me wondering if I was the only one to grind weird things before the season and if I'm not, what's the weirdest shit you guys ever grinded ?

IDK about me, but Cole jams, anyone?

We didn't really do much but drop in and grind the bottom part but It was a fun day for sure.

I used my kayak once...

I'm 23 and I still do curb grinds and tricks when I'm walking down the street. Some things never change.

same here but I'm 25... sometimes my friends/family must think I'm weird/insane.

I hit the crossbar of my cousins soccer goal once, the 3rd time I hit it though it snapped and I got all tangled in the netting.

My brother and I decided to turn an old futon into a rail before we burned it up in bum fuck Wisconsin.

Complete with an ATV tow in.

That actually looks really fun, how did it slide?

It didn't slide very well, but it was really fun anyway. We had a tiny little jump in the line too. The tow-in worked great, except the driver needs to ease into it. I got ripped right out of my bindings at one point.

Try being 34 with my kid at the park and running around grinding slides and monkey bars. Yep I'm that dad. Never let it go. Its too much fun.

When a buddy and I were like 12 we built a DFD box, out of only shitty wood. Edges got stuck the second you hit it and you fell down the rest

I think this might have been a more appropriate thread for this post:

10/10 for you. Truth.

As far as low tech jibs go, sketchiest thing I've jibbed was this aluminum step ladder to skate board rail. Skate board rails suck for skis. Don't waste money on them. They will kill you. BS 270 off with 210 CM GS race skis was not possible for me.

Coolest thing was this water barrel thing my neighbors had. We set it up a bunch of different ways and it was a blast. Wish I could find one like it.

Best thing by far is my PVC pipe. It is awesome. Can't wait to get snow again in my front yard again so I can set this up.

# Fuck you Buffalo, my front yard is green!
