I once saw something really inexplicable. There was a guy laying on a run, face down, with his skis dug straight into the ground. They were completely vertical, and they were dug in all the way to his bindings. It took him a few minutes of pathetic attempts before he realized he'd have to unclip from his bindings and pull out the skis. It was super funny.

i was straight lining a run at winterpark when i hit a roller near the side of the run and i landed straight on a chipmunk when i came down, i felt so bad, it didnt have a chance

did a run through the park then next run came down and was asked by park crew if i lost a switch blade. i said no and he told me they found one sitting on the landing facing up on the last jump in the park.

You got lucky nobody hit it. Either someone is an asshole, or a klutz. Whichever they are, they shouldn't be in the park.

yeah dude! thats the scary part, we were seshin the jump all day. thats why i got asked if it was mine haha. i mean who skis with a switch blade??!

At mt st louis a skunk ran right out in front of me! It was seriously no more than 5 feet away from me! I thought I was going to kill it but I swerved just in time!

deer crossing the landings in the park is a normal thing... one time i lost my cellphone for 2 days. The night groomer ran it over, noticed it hopped out picked it up, realized it was mine and gave it to me first run. It still worked, gotta love the old bomb proof LGs

thats fucking awesome

i once found a members badge that was my buddies jsut chilling in the snow

nothing crazy about it...

except that it was from 3 years earlier :|

i found a season pass on opening day, i saw the guy and gave it back, and he bought me a candy bar

i caught a squirrel once, and ive seen mice, and a deer or two, ive also found cameras and celll phones, and several times my own cell-phone without even knowing i lost it

my friend andy found a bag of opium under a lift after most of the snow had melted and we were hiking what was left of the terrain park while the mountain was closed

one time i found this 25ft flat rail in the woods buried underneath a huge amount of snow, it turns out the groomers had put it there when they werent using it, then i got buried and when they went back to look for it they thought it had been stolen or something, so they pulled it out and set it up the next day

condomns, beer, a whole gallon jug of arixona ice tea, a gallon of apple juice, some chocolate milk

Also, i found a bottle of frozen wine that was stashed there by a bunch of stupid 6th graders who thought they were awesome for drinking wine, so i smashed the bottle against a tree in front of them.

Def almost got hit by an elk at Beaver Creek right in the middle of the damn resort on a main trail. Had the tunes pumped up scared the shit out of me

to all the people that find ipods and cell phones, do you keep them or do you do the right thing and turn them in. I've lost both never to be seen again, retraced my tracks and everything, sure its cool to find a free ipod but what about the people who paid a fair amount for it

like end of the season on a double diamond mogul trail and these to guys were smoking cigarettes in the middle of the trail and had no skis or board

I've never skied in Japan, but a friend of mine got chased by one of these when he was skiing in Japan. Apparently it is not a good idea to stare at them.
