Weird scratchings on my friends back

my friend dan has 4 like perfectly paralell line scratches and two little marks on the center of his back like

he doesnt remember being scratched by anyone at all, his bed is normal, all the chairs in his house are normal and all that, hes had these marks for like 8 months, they dont hurt and they dont bother him

he says hes not possesed, and he says hes never been abducted by aliens, or scratched by a girl or a tiger so we are running out of any ideas

we all just think its fucking weird!

so does anyone have any idea what this might have been caused from, or know of stuff similar to this
