I have kind of a weird taste in movies...These are some of my favorites..

Totoro (most of miyazaki's stuff)

Afro Samurai

Taxidermia

The vengence triligy (espically Oldboy)

Donnie Darko

Aachi & Sipak (so much)

and mabey Southland Tales which I'm watching now that inspired me to write this thread. I know theres alot more than these this is just what was on the top of my head.

Post some weird movies you like or whatever...
 
Check out David Lynch for sure, he makes some crazy movies. Notably Eraserhead and Inland Empire.

The most ridiculously absurdly vulgar movie i have ever seen, however, is Pink Flamingos. I recommend you check it out.
 
Ya all of the 3 in the triligy are amazingly twisted. I strongly recommend them. Chan Wook Park is a genius.
 
you must be really artsy and deep or something, i don't see how you could "enjoy" CW Orange unless you looked past the story and saw the satire and the music involved in the movie. i feel like it's more of an icon than anything.

i liked Donnie Darko, though. and i heard Eraserhead is rediculous, i really want to see that.
 
walked into "Pink Flamingos" playing over at my buddy's house after a few large rips of some headies.

what i saw on the screen DID NOT COMPUTE.

donnie darko was watchable

on the other hand it was hard to watch IMHO the fountain, it has some interesting perspectives, but i found it somewhat difficult to find the true meaning of the film, and what the director was trying to get across.
 
Pi, Requium for a dream (same director, something like aloshosky or something like that)

Labyrinth - the one with david bowie, not Pan's Labyrinth which is also good but not really weird

Muhuland drive - David lynch movie... for that matter, any of the twin peaks movies as well.

Pink Floyd's The Wall

The original version of The Hitcher

The 80's movie called Crash

This is Spinal Tap (or any of the other movies by the same director)

American Movie (you need to have a weird sense of humor to enjoy this one)

el topo, so fucked up and wierd. yet kinda addictive, its a badass western with some of the wierdest shit you will ever see.

also cannibal holocaust, it honestly will make you sick. i usually have no problem with gross shit, but after seeing that i was feeling light headed and really woosy, i had to lay down for like 2 hours and think about what i just saw.

salo, or the 120 days of sodom. i havent seen it but ive heard alot about it and it seems like pure 100% fucked up. the directer was killed a couple days after he released the movie. i guess it involves a bunch of kids, brutal murder, torture, rape, and i heard like lots of stuff to do with poop, like being forced to eat it and stuff.
 
Requiem for a Dream for sure, crash was also good

mM all time fav though and has a pretty big cult following now is The Big Lebowski

Just saw American Psycho the other day and that was pretty good as well, one of Christian Bale's better performances I think.
 
great movie, pretty messed up. i love the part when they are sharing business cards for some reason, its mad amusing
 
Snatch is by far the most fucked up thing ive ever seen, like that part where they put his mom in the trailer and hold him then make him watch his mom burn to death in the trailer
 
if you liked snatch, check out lock, stock, and two smoking barrels, same director, and a lot of the same actors, sweet movie
