Weird Experiences with Pros?

I was wondering if any of you have had weird experiences with Pro Skiers? I had one a few days back last week

I saw Andy Parry at the Lodge in Bristol Mountain yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen ski passes in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the passes and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each pass and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Good effort O.P. but you lost it as soon as you said "bristol" summer season is back folks get ready for the shit thread storm

I was skiing at Springs 2 years ago when Good Company was there. I was walking to my car, and I turned a corner and saw Chris Laker in between 2 trees smoking a bowl. We made eye contact. He smiled at me with his missing tooth and said "Shhhh" and I just walked away. I got in my car and processed what had just happened and broke down in tears of laughter.

At TAFT two years ago we were all down getting pizza and Andy found my skis and put them on. He was just laying on the grounds doing grabs and ended up licking the end of my ski.

90% sure OP copied and pasted someone's story I've read about meeting Kanye West in a supermarket and changed a few things.

I once met nick goepper in the parking lot at snowpark nz (rip)

He was super nice and threw no rocks at me. That was weird.

I was driving down the street in seattle by the evo outlet store, and i saw this truck (like an unmarked smaller uhual van) parked in the median, and i said to my left "what idiot parks this shit in the middle of the road! and than sean pettit steps out infront, and i almost ran him over. so out of pocket.

Met Shea Flynn in an alley downtown, he was looking like he was having a bad day so of course I tried to strike up a conversation with him. He asked me if I had any money, I said I didn't. Then Shea said "wrong answer". I don't remember anything after that.

I wish more pros on NS were active so we could ask "weird experiences you've had with fanboys". Wallisch's stories would be legendary.

I was at the top of the momentum lane waiting for a friend who was on the t-bar. A bunch of skiers went by but I was pretty into my music. They all stopped just in front of me but one, who slid to a stop just behind me. I felt something brush my hair so i went to turn around and saw someones face right up against the back of my head. Thats when I felt a sharp pain and whipped around only to find that Russ fucking Henshaw had nipped a bit out of my ear. He was sloshing it around while chewing and laughing and shit. I think he said something about a harvest before he ski'd off with his homies. Overall chill dude though, was a good time.

This would be a great story if Russ had never been to momentum...

I had at least 6 kids under 17 ask me if I wanted to smoke weed with them during the TAFT. One kid came up to me and asked me, "Yo Andy you wanna blaze in the van?". He looked about 15.

10/10

Up on the lift at key one day and patar, the filmer for molesquad, shouted what's good at me and I shouted it back. He smiled and then shouted a slurred SPRING BREAK 2K16 while skiing away.

In March I snap chatted Will Wesson a couple of times with my hood up over my helmet and goggles with the caption "Will Wesson sux" he then threatened to find me and kill me, then he apologized.

At Killington a few years ago for Dew Tour I got to sit in the athlete tent at the top of the pipe and Dumont and Dorey were joking around punching eachother and as I stared in aww at two nasty skiers Dumont swung a fake punch toward me and I though he was legit and he laughed. Then he proceeded to deny a kid a picture with him before his final run.

Dumont and my brother smoked together at a graduation party like 11 years ago.

I was out at lunch one day with my friends during school and when we got done we were walking back to my car and these 2 dudes decked out in yoke and bloom outerwear approached me asking me if I could help haul their winch to a spot because their car broke down. Which I believe I had a level 1 shirt on that day which is why I thinked they asked me. We got talking He gave me his number and he said his name was Meeks then when he said that it clicked that it was Forster Meeks and the other dude with him was Brian Tonetti. Long story short we went and got their winch hauled it to the spot and got to watch Tonetti hit a super bad ass flat down rail. What a day that was

Preface this with I only started skiing 3 seasons ago when I moved to Mammoth from the Big Island. Traveling Circus made me want to ski…like really bad.

Right when I moved to Mammoth I was working when my friend let me know "that van that's in the edits you make me watch is outside" so yeah freaked out, grabbed a sharpie from my boss, skis from locker, and ran out after the two guys. They were about to get on the gondi so I yelled, "Will Wesson sign my skis!" He turned around met up with me and was suuuuper nice and signed my chronics. I fangirled out and froze, said something stupid like "OMG this is the best day ever" instead of...your crew gave me the stoke to move from Hawaii to mainland in pursuit of skiing...hey thanks for that.

So yeah.

Also, I got to thank Alex Hall for winning it at the top of 6 right after the SLVSH cup. He also was really nice. So I guess these aren’t really weird, more of awesome for me and I got excited and had to share. Cool story, I know. >.

Walking in downtown Toronto a couple months ago, passed some dudes laughing and taking photos - each one of them with a big pack of huggies diapers in hand.

Noticed it was Max Hill as I passed by, who just said "don't mind us" and then laughed with his homies

>I be 13

>Skiing at st louis early one Saturday morning

>Friend points out that this guy looks like cole drexler

>turns out its actually cole drexler

>I say "oh shit its cole drexler !"

>he says "ay nice to meet you whats your name?"

>I panic and jokingly say Jesus

>He gives me a look like "is the kid gay or something?"

>He says nothing and skis away

One time I was at PC and saw Tom struggling to get 2 pretz 2 on this box, so I skied over and was like hey buddy, all you have to do is dig that lead toe to stop the rotation and then pop off of it in the opposite direction... he got all nervous and mumbled something while he looked down at the snow.

From the lift, I watched him hike that box all day... not once did he dig his lead toe! silly Tom

^ reminds me of another story from that same trip to PC. I was lapping the park all day absolutely crushing, made 3 kings my bitch, etc. The next day I went up and saw Steve Stept dressed exactly like me trying to do all the same tricks I stomped the day before. It was really weird when I told him I liked his jacket and he pissed his pants.

I met a young Alex Hackel years ago at windells before I was a skier and I remember this kid throwing gnarly tricks on the tramp with a crazy scar on his face. I struck up a conversation with him and he ended up being a really chill guy with a crazy story about the scar. Didn't realize who it was until this winter watching SLVSH

One time my super pro roommate (his sponsors won't allow me to release his name) gave me an over the pants handjob.

It was Teal Harley Davidson. I was there and he was giving them out candy on halloween.

Last season when I went to visit my buddy in PC and he skis with AHall a lot so my friends and I got to eat dinner and play skate 3 with him, kids pretty cool.

RIP to the Killington Dew Tour. Met Torin on the last day of the last time they had the dew tour on the east coast. He was chill but I felt like shit because I wanted him to sign my cast and there wasn't any room for him to sign on the cast (I broke my hand a week prior while skiing).

was hiking rails at the loaf early season, a strange man named keegan told me to look less like a boner and id get my trick. Later that year that mysterious man won super unknown.....

I ate shit on a tube rail and it ended up being the very last clip in Small World. Other than that I mostly just look at pros from a distance.
