Weighted blankets

My wife has one. Always makes me nervous it's gonna fall off the couch onto one of our animals and suffocate them.

Well I’m not autistic but I feel like it’s something to do with how babies loved to be swaddled because of the construction. I’m that baby. I always have to have a tight ass blanket tucked in around me or I can’t sleep. And this weighted blanket doesn’t get hot that’s the best part. Idk If this makes sense but I can’t just sleep in sheets it just feels too weird.

sounds terrifying OP. it's cool that you are into it but be sure to ask/ warn anyone else that might try to get in your bed

Im autistic and loved my weighted blanket. but it was too hot for me (im cold blooded) so my mom had to return it. now the weight of my heinous crimes secures me as I drift into a mindless slumber

can you make me a shticky weighted blanket

Most comfy blanket ever. Feels like it keeps heat in too.

It also offsets my childhood afflictions of not showing emotion, its like im gaining back the years of not giving the hugs i needed the most

And it brings me back to the days when your mom would spend the night.

i love to sleep bundled up - so during the winter i open my window, throw on joggers & a hoodie and crash under the 20lb blanket i have... pretty much nothing will wake me up at that point

I love this scene. Chris farley imo was alot funnier than adam sandler. Its such a shame he died.

yeah dude, actually i recently read an AMA with the actor who played the main student character and he said filming that scene was hysterical, it was just the chris farley show at full force, improv-ing lines and cracking everyone up. what a legend

No need for weighted blankets when ur dogs choose to lay on top of you instead of anywhere else on the bed

Also, in the spirit of this thread, i would say if you ever tried sleeping on a nice couch, its way better than a bed. A couch kind of cocoons you and almost makes you feel like you had a girlfriend to sleep next to. i havent slept in a bed in years.
