Weed Banner Ads

I just got a banner ad for Torontovaporizer, complete with macros of many of their pieces and their Zeus grinder. I understand target marketing, and NS is not a bad place to advertise paraphernalia, but enough's enough. While plenty of freeskiiers smoke, I don't think those two activities should be definitively connected. Also, I'm fairly positive the majority of NS'ers are underage and can't even buy that stuff legally. Do you care about seeing these ads?

Ever hear about adsense? Through your browsing history, the ads you see are targeted at you, trying to match your interests. My current ad is for the Hyatt with "Platinum Status Upgrade." If you routinely look at or search for weed related products, your ads are likely to be weed based as well some of the time. If your mother uses your computer to research a trip to Disney, your ads will often feature Mickey Mouse. As an aside, I have never had a weed based ad.
 
... I don't even smoke though :/. I forgot about adsense, I began to assume that the ads were placed by NS after seeing the same Momentum/Windells ad every day
 
I have never once looked up weed on my new computer and since the day I got it i have gotten the ad mentioned in the op everyday
 
Dispensaries advertise their deals in the newspapers. You'll see "$25 eights everyday!" and "Hash Tuesdays! $20 grams every Tuesday" in the college coupon book. They definitely got my business. That's their objective and it's legal, so why should they sensor themselves? Don't act like this is the worst thing capitalism has done.

Toronto Vaporizer sells smoking "equipment," presumably for tobacco consumption. With that said, nobody uses bubblers, bongs.... or vaporizers... for tobacco. They don't sell marijuana. Also, you must be 18 to purchase tobacco related products.
 
I don't get what you mean by "LOL 13 pls" elaborate on that, because I honestly don't think there's too many 10-12 year olds actually on this site. And so what, they'll know what it is in 3-4 years anyways.

And if you knew anything about smoke shops, you would know that they don't really make the whole age limit a pressing issue. Money is money. I've been buying bongs, pipes, and other smoking related things from the time I was 13.

I wouldn't call it cool because smoking has had a very negative effect on my life, but whatever. I was just stating that it's not a big deal. And you're straying so hard from your original point it's fucking hilarious.

And stop acting like it's a big deal, because it's not. At all.
 
So there's ads like the ones about suing ski resorts and making banks, but OP is crying because he saw an ad about weed?

Two differnt depots and Durango is kind of pricey if thats what you're getting at. The hash is a whipped BHO made from trim. It's not mind blowing hash, but it's pretty good.
