has anyone else noticed that in the next 15 days there are like 3 days i which they'll be able to blow snow. this winter kinda blows

can anyone tell me what the conditions are like around the resorts in pa and if its even worth going? how has the rain affected the snow and stuff

in CNY in the next 15 days it looks like there will indeed only be about 3 days when they can blow any snow to speak of... but saying this winter blows already isnt exactly true, especially if you look back on the last 3 seasons. i can't tell you the last time we've had a majority of our ski area open (including the park) and even had a couple powder days before christmas. so i'm gonna have to disagree with that one, so far this season has definitely exceeded my expectations. and it isn't going to be anywhere near 50 around here anytime soon, i'm pretty happy with it so far.

So no one on this entire message board has been up to any Pocono mountains Tuesday, Wednesday, or today? Does anyone live near a mountain and can at least comment on what has been happening precipitation wise?

I want to go somewhere tomorrow and just want to make sure I'm just not wasting 4 hours of my day driving to a plate of ice and beat landings.

Bueller, bueller?

i heard blue's park was fun this morning. if you get there first thing in the morning, everything is usually in pretty good shape. around 9-11 is usually the best time to ride park once stuff softens up a bit.

alright so i was at blue pretty much all day today and this is what i have to day abot conditions and such:

when i first got there at about 10 the lift lines were huge which is to be expected at any resort on a holiday week. the runs werent too bad, some were icy but only in certain spots. i wewnt theough the park and they had the same rails and boxes up that they have had al year but they did have 1 jump which they kept in pretty good shape all day. as the day progressed the lines shortened drastically and as the temperature rose the conditions got much better. so overall even thought there has been rain and warmer then normal temperatures the conditions werent too bad....

now my question is.. had anyone been out to elk recently?? im going there on sunday and am just wondering what i should expect

Boulder has more park than probably most of the entire east coast. 4 parks with jumps up to 50' dozens upon dozens of rails and boxes.. Don't believe it? ........... then it is your loss.
