Last year today dagmar opened and they had a couple of runs open and we were all able to ski. after i checked my thermometer today it said 12 degrees celsius. wtf. this is the dumbest season ever so far. lets hope for snow. i think its global warming, or some weather trend, hopefully it will be over soon.
 
According to the weathernetwork, we're going to be getting some cold soon. *crosses fingers that they won't change it in a few days*
 
I was actually wearing a ts hirt for part of the day, It sucks looking at all the pics of guys skiing when Im sitting in my warm aSS HOUSE
 
Sorry to break it to you bud, but global warming isnt going anywhere, and its going to shorten the seasons by weeks at a time every year. I was interested to see an awareness ad in Freeskier (with aspen) check out freeskier.com/environment if you wanta know why it wont snow till January. Welcome to the future.
 
patience my friend, look at the weather out west this year, right now, temperatures range from -5 to -25, and they are getting mad snow out there, now that weather is suppose to move in here within a week or so, so just sit waiting outside your window and wait for that big snow storm, and lets hope for a normal winter, since there was a normal summer this year
 
i saw 'inconvient truth' last night. our earth is FUCKED due to CO2 emissions, which is ultimately causing global warming. period
 
the weather will get cold...just be patient...but we are definitly seeing the effects of global warming...and we will continue to see it in the future...everyone at newschoolers should start a movement to save winter...ha
 
haha dont let an inconvenient truth scare you too much, but definitely realize that everything in that movie looms in the near future. things need a fixin, or we are all gonna be selling our gear.
 
yaaa i no thats gay. im watching this movie in geography, i forget whats its called but its a documentary sort of with al gore. came out last year. its good but its horrible necause it shows how much we are killing the planet. everything is going to be mad fucked in like 50 years
 
and you guys know who u have to blame for this??? I guarentee most of your parents drive by themselves (or with one other person) to work everyday.. instead of taking public transit, or car pooling... but the governments are taking steps to help climate change.. ex. getting rid of coal run power plants and replacing with clean nuke energy and small wind/solar farms.. and within 10-15 yeras,, hybrid/ hydrogen cars will start becoming a norm in our society..
 
i have decided that even though the weather sucks, by doing things like seting up james' rail at mckinney, i can be happy. so w.e i am going to vermont in feb. so there will be lots of snow by then. i just want to hit that rail again.
 
your wrong about canada, they are takign steps, its just not visible yet, for instance, kyoto accor, now is scraped by the conservative government who wants to make their own climate change accord which is highly flawed, and you know all that smog that you see every summer in toronto, over 60-70% of that smog comes from the states, and yes i agree thatthe american government isnt doing anything becaues they have other iussues to deal with, like seeing who can stick their thumb up their asses the farthest.

yah so what if we arent doing much. canada doesnt produce as much global warming as say...india.
 
Then lets set an example and unkick some envrionmental ass! Whether or not India is polluting more than us, we have room for improvement.

^brother there is more snow in the northern mountains of india than eastern canada will ever see, pollard has filmed some dope lines there. And having fewer cars isnt going to do anything anytime soon so dont start walking, reducing emmisions is only prevention not a solution, the problem is already here. Awareness is the first step, im stoked you guys are watching an inconvenient truth in class, listen up and take a stand, or soon we will all be water skiing.
