are all skiers obsessed with the weather or just me? first thing i do when i get up is look out the window and at the thermometer in my bedroom window, than watch the news to see the weather for the week... than keep checkin' to see if it changes...

i'm obsessed with weather, help!

I think it is all skiers. I just watch the temperature all the time to see if the would be making snow or not and stuff. I am so happy on weather.com there is only like 1 day in the next 10 where the high is above freezing.

I hate the weather right now, I think most everyone in washington will agree. Damn El Nino.

I saw my little cousin at thanksgiving and she said the reason it's not snowing it because the angels haven't had a pillowfight yet, I later said under my voice 'damn pacifist angels'

Yah, i check the weather channel several times a day. Last monday i spent 3 hours on the internet going over satellite images, radar images, reading weather reports from bc, oregon, washington, alaska and even hawaii (where most of fernie's storms brew), then i went over historical weather reports from the last 10 years to figure out if this weather is normal for fernie and checked to see what other el nino years produced for fernie in the last 30 years.

Conclusion: It'll probably snow in bc early next week, i expect a weak december with little snowfall then hopefully it'll start puking like usual around mid to end of january.

But most of that is just guess work...so i'm probably completly wrong.

im obsessed with the weather, i always stare out the window at school checkin the weather, actually im always checkin the weather..hah but i get mad at the weather when it isn't what i want

all i got to say is this el nino sucks... i remember watchin the weather for the mountains when i was six, and i would get sad when it would rain...

ya, I'm obsessed with weather.com, weather.ec.gc.ca, most other weather stuff. I dont like the weather on TV though, they aren't as acurate, well atleast on Global there not as acurate. And for Ontario the weather looks sick for the next week.

i dont check the weather, because ill always be dissapointed, and when snow comes, its a surprise!! And then i run around my street screaming

My grandma lives in the midwest. She says it doesn't snow very often, so you must be very happy when it snows.

I'm all about the guess work though. And actually i might be wrong on the snow early next week...it'll have to be more like end of next week because the jet stream moved north to the yukon and alaska boundrays which means no active weather will hit bc for the next 3-5 days. There's still a storm brewing off the coast of hawaii...hopefully the jet stream will move back south and suck that bitch right in.

Look out the window, read the paper, weather.com and wunderground, then I check the snow reports of local hills and see whats up. Yes I am obsesssed with the weather.

Hey just go to weather.com and you can get emails for your zip code with 10 day forecasts and with inclement weather (snow) emails..its really nice to have.
