Wearing snowboard appearl

hey i was just wondering if it was a cool thing or not to rock snowboard appearl if you are a skier. im talkin like burton or technine or something like that. just wondering

I literall;y had all burton this year. I did not base any gear decisions on brand, but i happened to like burtons stuff. Burton ski socks (christmas), burton pants, burton jacket, Burton Mitts, RED helmet, Anon Goggles, both of which are subcompanys of burton.

i wear snowboard apperal when i ski because sometimes i like to think iam a snowboarder when i am actually not!!! or maybe i am just a poser

burton makes some dank outerwear....steve stepp and tom wallisch are good examples of sick snowboard stuff

yeah i dont think theres an issue. ive heard of some snowboarders talking to skiiers saiyng that they shouldnt be wearing it but i think if its comfortable looks cool just go for it

cheap i'll give you.. but good? all the burton stuff i and my friends have owned has fallen apart in no time.. i'm talkin like less than a month of use..

i got nothin against snowboard companies but burton lacks in quality..

I think snowboarding pants wear out on the inside of the boot quicker than ski pants, ohterwise, i don't know a difference.

why would you giys want to support a company that doesn't give a fuck about you when you could buy from someone who actually knows what skis are? I mean come on, support the industry a little.

theres nothing really wrong with it, i like to rep skiing though, or at the very least a company that sponsors both sports.

Burton, ya sure why not. Technine blah. Companies like Burton, Bonfire, and even DC are really good for quality stuff.

I'll support skiing's outerwear industry when they stop making product that falls apart, sucks technically, and has decent style that isn't "snowboarding from 2 years ago".

My Oakley Galactic jacket barely made it through ONE season. We're talking about a high-end, 3-ply, hard to find jacket. numerous zippers no longer work, including the main one that keeps the jacket closed up, it's not really waterproof anymore, and the seam taping is starting to unglue itself.

Real quality shit. Glad I didn't pay retail for it.

yaa, ive had several problems with my oakly stuff, mainly the zippers. i also had to pay to have my coat warrantied, despite the fact it was still less than a year from purchase date!!!
